Story of a new cycle.

A very beautiful experience related to Mexican art, its history, its life, its love; definitely highly recommended to visit within Mexican culture.

Frida day

The local Tours operator changed the time on us the day before from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM as we were busy that whole day I scanned over the text but did not catch the time change. When we called and asked, where are you? They told us about the time change. Which would Consume our whole day we asked for a refund and they declined. We went over to the Frida Kahlo museum on our own and on the way we were communicating with them and after several calls, they agreed to text us the tickets for the exhibit and give us a discounted refund seemed like a fair solution because it was partly my fault for not reading the full text, but they could’ve had the time change bold in front and center.

Seamless visit

It was a seamless worry free experience.. from pickup to the tour and then drop off back to hotel. Also enjoyed the hidden gems like churros shack recommended by the guide/ driver.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that everything went smoothly and that you were able to relax and enjoy the experience.

So sad

I made tour reservations for my mother for 11:30 AM last Tuesday (11-25) . I repeatedly attempted to confirm the name of the tour guide and pick up time but the contracted tour company failed to respond. On the day of the tour, we waited outside of the residence and were not picked up at the scheduled/confirmed time. After calling the contracted tour company AGAIN, I was told the tour was moved to 2:30 PM. The tour was schedule to be approximately four hours long and the return time conflicted with our dinner reservations. So very disappointed!

Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $2100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Frida Khalo Museum with Transportation and Culinary Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
