Lousy service.

Lousy service! They make you think it is entrance to the Blue house and no, you have to buy the separate tickets for the Blue house! I don't recommend them at all

Response from the operator: Quien te lo hizo creer? En mi descripción de este servicio dice claramente que no sólo las entradas no están incluidas sino que hay que comprarlas con anticipación. Quien te hizo creer qué y cómo?? Otras cosa es que tú veas lo que quieres ver

Please note that tickets...

Please note that tickets for the Frida Kahlo Blue House Museum are not included in this tour. I'll clearly communicate this detail to clients, as securing tickets can be challenging due to high demand—the museum often books up weeks in advance. Additionally, when offering alternative tour options, it will be helpful to provide more accurate estimated travel times, which can be extensive in Mexico City, especially when traveling with children.

Response from the operator: Well,.. this does not sound like a complaint to me AT ALL... At all .. be not carried away by 'tendency ' alone... A visit to the famous couple two remaining/other house-museums is just as valuable. It's the exact same thing.

Non-existent

A purchased a tour of Frida Kahlo museum for $125 that I did not know didn’t include admission to the museum. The description of the tour was very descriptive. And they refused to refund me. I will never purchase from this company again!

Response from the operator: It goes without saying that in order for one to complete any given purchase of any kind whatsoever one must be very well aware of what it is that one is purchasing. Furthermore I always send confirmation messages through the viator system for every single confirmed booking clarifying in the case of this particular service that the Blue House museum admission tickets are not included in overall tour cost however every now and then there are people unwilling to simply read a single one of these confirmation messages bringing this unfortunate result upon themselves by themselves since on service day service cost can no longer be refunded.

We had confirmation that...

We had confirmation that we had Frida Kahlo tickets by Viator and our tour operator also sent a message saying we had this fulfilled. On the day of they wouldn’t let us into the museum and said they’ve had problems with Viator before. It was very disappointing as this was the main attraction for us.

Response from the operator: On the one hand It is very clearly stated on My profile not only that admission to the Blue House museum is not only not included in overall tour cost but must be purchased in advance as proven by My booking confirmation ticket; on the other I without exception send a confirmation message through the viator system for every single booking confirmation clarifying first of all in the case of this particular service one more time that the admission tickets to the Blue House museum are not included. Therefore this person is lying.

Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation cost?

+

Prices start at $123 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Frida Kahlo and Floating Gardens Tour with Transportation start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
