Must Do for Petrol Heads

We had an amazing time on the JDM Tour yesterday. The vehicle was excellent, and our driver was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the local car scene. We got lots of great insights about the cars as well as the local automotive culture, which made the whole experience even more special. The route was very well chosen, everything felt relaxed and completely stress-free, and we even stayed at the meet longer than originally booked, which we really appreciated. As car enthusiasts, this was an absolute must-do for us. It truly fulfilled a childhood dream, and although we already had high expectations, they were actually exceeded. We would 100% recommend this tour to any car fan looking for an unforgettable experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We are truly honored that the tour exceeded your expectations and fulfilled a childhood dream. We’re delighted you enjoyed the route, the relaxed atmosphere, and learning more about Japan’s automotive culture. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable experience in Tokyo.

Short action, little information and very little entertainment for a lot of money

Interesting experience of driving a GTR through Tokyo. However, we hoped for something different. If we hadn't asked questions, there probably wouldn't have been a conversation. There was no information about the cars, the Japanese car culture, or the places we visited. We drove through the city and made 3 stops. No info, no announcement. At some point it just went on. Our French driver had a good command of his vehicle and had fun. But that's all. I would have expected something else for the money. Sorry!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect our usual quality standards. This review does not match the service we normally provide. For every tour, we follow a clear and structured script that includes detailed explanations about the cars, Japanese car culture, and each stop we visit. Our goal is to offer the same high-quality and informative experience to every guest. We sincerely regret that this was apparently not the case during your tour, and we will review internally what may have happened. If you wish, feel free to contact us directly so we can find a suitable solution together.

Awesome experience. See Japanese car culture at its best.

The experience is well worth the money and lots of fun. I got to see lots of cool Japanese car culture, including one of the biggest department stores for car parts and the now famous daikoku car meet. A few stops on the way there and runs through the tunnel in a pristine R35 GTR and a friendly guide. Highly recommend. Pickup from Shibuya crossing which was also a cool experience. Good value too 😊

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review! I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed discovering the Japanese car scene and all the stops along the way. It was a pleasure having you on the tour, and I’m happy you liked the ride in the R35 and the Shibuya pickup. I appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again for another great night in Tokyo! 😊

French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit cost?

+

Prices start at $40000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does French&English Fast & furious III: Daikoku visit start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

+

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

+

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
