During the tour, we explore the coast northwest of Levanto. The nature is wild, the views are amazing, and the history dates back to the beginning of the Medieval period. In Framura, we will visit a defensive and panoramic tower dating back 1500 years. Here, we will also make a coffee stop in a typical hamlet. Then, we will go down to sea level, where we will take the 'Mare e Monti' cycle path (an old railway route). The route offers breathtaking views of the sea on this beautiful stretch of coast. After passing through the village of Bonassola, we will reach a panoramic point in Bonassola Bay, the Madonnina della Punta, a chapel dating back 400 years. Here, we will make a stop with a tasting of focaccia and local wine. Finally, we will return to Levanto.

This panoramic site is where we will stop for relaxing after the ride. The small and cute chapel from the XVIII century has been built in a strategic point, where you can see from Punta Mesco (where the Cinque Terre begin) to the promontory of Portofino. Here we will serve a taste of white wine and assorted focaccias.

This unique cycleway has been created using old train tunnels. The panorama on the sea is breathtaking, since it goes along the coast-line. The flat surface makes it easy to bike for everyone, and safe also for kids since there are no cars at all.

Stunning scenery, a top life experience!
This was THE HIGHLIGHT of our two-week trip through Italy, and it was one of the top travel experiences of my life — and I have been to more than a dozen countries and done some amazing things. Matteo was a terrific guide, very professional and smart but also funny and enthusiastic. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, the route was challenging but totally do-able (and I am not an athlete!), and the historical and cultural info that Matteo shared along the way was fascinating. This tour was worth every penny any then some. Get out of the Cinque Terre tourist craziness and do this! THIS is Liguria!!! Thank you Matteo for the life-long memories made!

Levanto e-bike tour
Our first time on ebikes & was a great experience. Can’t recommend enough. Guilia was fun & informative. We were very lucky to have her as our guide. It took a bit to get used to the bikes. Views were incredible! Just the right amount of stops…the wine & focaccia were perfect. So happy we booked this activity. What an amazing memory.

Best experience of our trip so far!
Where do we start. It was definitely a 12 out of 10 and probably the highlight of our trip so far! Anybody visiting this area that likes to ride bikes at all has to do this. I was nervous at first with it starting in Levanto because I had not heard much about that area, but we basically had a special ride up through the roads and then along the beach through abandoned train tunnels along the ocean and it was amazing! The e-bikes made it easy for my wife and I and our 2 boys ages 10 and 13. Our guide was amazing and he told us about the area and its history. Thank you!
