    Dolphin watching

Micheal was a great guide. Informative, fun, and a joy to be around. We enjoyed seeing all the dolphins.

Response from the operator: What an amazing note to read—thank you for sharing your experience! 🛶🌿 Michael will be happy to hear he helped make your time on the water so memorable. There’s nothing quite like a Southwest Florida Adventure out on the water in Fort Myers, gliding through mangroves on a kayak, spotting dolphins playing nearby, and soaking in the calm beauty of the estuaries. 🐬✨ Our guided tours are all about that perfect mix of fun, learning, and unforgettable wildlife viewing—from curious manatees cruising by to dolphins putting on a show. We’re glad you enjoyed the experience and hope to see you back for another round of kayaking, kayak rentals, and mangrove magic soon! 🌊 -Stefan

    Could have been better

Guide was way ahead at all times and should have been more helpful. It was longer than expected (more than the stated. 2 hrs) so too much for me and went until after dark - we did not have flashlights so I did not feel safe on the open water. First part was in a canal with homes so not very scenic. Fortunately we saw many interesting birds and many dolphins.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience Jill! First. let me apologize for the extended time frame, and that your guide was not being helpful. We have re-trained him to avoid any issues like this in the future. Our Sunset Tours are specifically timed around sunset, and are designed to return immediately after the sun sets, so we still have daylight. I'm sorry that you were put in an uncomfortable situation. I'm glad you were able to have some cool Dolphin encounters. I hope you'll give us another chance on your next visit to Southwest Florida. -Stefan

Great time! Horseshoe crabs & star fish.

Katie gave a great kayak tour. It was cloudy so we didn’t have much of a sunset but was able to see a pink sky on the way a k to the dock. We had a great time scavaging for shells at the beach and found lots of horseshoe crabs & tiny starfish. We also had a dolphin swim by us at the mangroves.

Response from the operator: So glad you got to enjoy the adventure, even with the clouds! 🌤️ Hunting for shells and spotting little starfish and horseshoe crabs sounds like a treasure-filled day. And a surprise dolphin cameo? That’s nature’s way of giving you a high-five! Katie and the team loved having you out on the water. Can’t wait to paddle with you again! 🐬🛶 -Stefan

    Sunset kayak excursion

Just finished the sunset kayak excursion with Cayla! What a way to take in the wildlife of the coast, even saw dolphins as we docked our kayaks. Cayla was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the different bird species and mangroves. 10/10 recommend!

Response from the operator: Wow, what an adventure! We’re so happy you got to catch dolphins and explore the coast with Cayla leading the way. She loves sharing all the fun facts about our birds and mangroves, and it sounds like you got the full experience. Thanks for paddling with us and for the glowing recommendation—see you on the water again soon! -Stefan

Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Myers.

How much does Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Myers usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Myers is not rushed.

Is Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Myers, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Myers can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Myers and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fort Myers Beach: Guided Kayak Sunset Tour in Pelican Bay start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Myers within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fort Myers?

    +

Fort Myers is the jumping-off point for Sanibel, Captiva and Cayo Costa: shelling cruises, dolphin watches, Everglades airboats to the east and sunset sails from the beach pier. On Outty we rank every Fort Myers experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Hobie Kayak EcoTour: Premium Eco Experience Bonita Springs, 2.5-Hour Guided Group Kayak Tour on Big Hickory Pass, Southwest Florida Sunset Sail. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fort Myers?

    +

December to April for dry, calm Gulf days. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fort Myers?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
