Regulated my Nervous System After this Forest Bathing Session with Asheville Wellness Tours!

I absolutely loved my forest bathing experience with Asheville Wellness Tours at the NC Arboretum! The guide created a calming and welcoming atmosphere, leading us through gentle, mindful practices that helped me truly slow down and connect with nature. I left feeling deeply relaxed, grounded, and more present than I have in a long time. The wild-foraged tea ceremony at the end was a beautiful touch. Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation, renewal, and an authentic Asheville wellness experience!

Response from the operator: Travis, you are so kind! There's nothing better than to slow down and connect with nature: it's the best medicine! We hope to share more experiences with you here in Asheville, whether it's another slowed down nature time, or maybe some tarot or Goat Yoga! x - Asheville Wellness Tours team

    Blue ghost fireflies

We did the blue ghost firefly nature walk. It was so magical and ethereal! Kelly our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel well taken care of! The blue ghosts were so cool, and having private property to experience them away from any crowds was really special. The tea was a delicious touch to the tour! 10/10 would recommend!

Response from the operator: Hi there! Thank you so much for your amazing review of our Blue Ghost Firefly experience. We are so glad you got to experience the magic with us. So glad you enjoyed the tea, as well. We hope to see you again next year! - Megan

    Worth the time

This was a great experience! Kelly did a great jog guiding us through the forest. Sharing from each other gave the experience even more rich. Being from here it helped in the healing process from Helene. I will be spending more time in nature after this experience. Highly recommend for locals and visitors.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are so glad Kelly's guidance and the shared reflections brought depth and healing to your time in the forest. It means so much to hear that it inspired you to spend more time in nature — that is exactly what we hope for. Wishing you continued peace on the path. - Megan

Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Asheville.

How much does Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Asheville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Asheville is not rushed.

Is Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Asheville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Asheville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Asheville and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Asheville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Asheville?

    +

Asheville pairs Biltmore Estate visits with Blue Ridge Parkway waterfall tours, brewery crawls through one of the densest beer scenes in America, and guided hikes in Pisgah. Biltmore ticket handling and parkway route detail are what to check. On Outty we rank every Asheville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Blue Ridge Parkway and Waterfall Hiking Tour from Asheville, Asheville Historic Downtown Guided Electric Bike Tour with Scenic Views, Gem Mining and Goat Farm Walking Tour in Hendersonville. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Asheville?

    +

April to June and October for autumn colour. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Asheville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
