Outstanding tour with THE BEST guide Oscar

Incredible value. Oscar was a superior guide. Incredibly knowledgeable about all things Turkish. He was very patient and respectful of our needs. We are better prepared for trivia night, warning to the competition! The driver was very skilled and his vehicle was extremely luxurious and well air conditioned. Highly recommend! Thanks gentlemen.

This is the tour you want

Such a great day with Mehmet! He showed us all the key places in Ephesus that you would need to see to say that you were here. His English was great and his patience explaining things was commendable. We booked a private tour for the4 of us and were able to see all the sights without the crowds because they chose when to go to the different spots at less busy times. The cost was super reasonable for the time and it included a wonderful lunch. We would highly recommend this tour!!!

    Good tour with a caveat

This was a good tour. The itinerary was the House of the Virgin, Old Ephesus, A ceramics shop, Temple of Artemis (a single ancient column in a field), plain Turkish lunch (included), and ending with a rug shop. If you love ancient history, Ephesus is overwhelming and Taylan really brought it to life. Taylan was a fine guide: clear, knowledgeable, personable, helpful. The only downside to the tour were the hard sell stops of ceramics and rugs. They were explained as a presentation of how they are preserving Turkish culture, but they both ended in hard sell situations. Both the ceramic dishes and rugs were beautiful (and expensive) and the demonstrations of the old techniques was fascinating. However, I personally don't like it when a hard sell is sprung on me. We bought some of the ceramics because they are indeed beautiful, but you should know going in what they're really doing. I think you can request to skip those stops.

    Visit to Ephesus and Surrounds

Taylan was great. Highly knowledgeable, fluent English, very accommodating. Spent 1.5 hours with us at Ephesus and answered all of our questions. Perfect balance between guiding and giving us freedom to explore alone. Two of our five stops were slightly commercial in nature: one at a ceramics studio, another at an artisan rug company. Both were very welcoming and gave detailed introductions to their craft. Both also included a low-pressure sales pitch, which might make some feel like captive customers. Not us: we bought some small pieces, but the learning experience was well worth it.

How much does FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus Shore Excursion from Kusadasi Port W/ Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus Shore Excursion from Kusadasi Port W/ Lunch take?

    +

Is FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus Shore Excursion from Kusadasi Port W/ Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus Shore Excursion from Kusadasi Port W/ Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus Shore Excursion from Kusadasi Port W/ Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kusadasi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
