The Perfect Way to Explore Local Food
The tour was very well organized, and they paid great attention to our dietary needs and preferences. Amp was incredibly friendly and shared so much interesting information about the food and the local area. It was both fascinating and delicious! Thank you for this wonderful experience—we would book this tour again anytime. One tip from us: Don't eat too much beforehand, because you'll get to enjoy plenty of amazing food during the tour!
Response from the operator: Amp’s bright smile is going to be even bigger when she sees this! Thank you for your incredible kindness and for recommending us so lovingly.

Fantastic - don't miss it!!
We had May as a tour guide and she was fantastic, lots of amazing food we would probably have never found on our own. We'll worth the money. Recommend 100%
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a great review! We are so glad that May showed you a fantastic time and introduced you to some hidden food spots in the city.

Amazing experience for family
Lovely experience the tour guide Jonki was very attentive to details and our needs as a family especially for our 8 years old son: the restaurants and the food was fantastic and the flowers market was very special. We had smooth and fun time all through. Highly recommended

Ask for MAY!!!
My wife and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to get to know the local culture, history and food so we booked this food tour. We had no idea what to expect and were a little nervous but we got super lucky because we got paired with May! She truly made the whole experience aMAYzing! She was so kind, knowledgable and really good at her job. Not only did she teach us about the food but we learned so much about the people and culture of Thailand in this tour. I would highly recommend to ask for her if possible. For us speaking English only she was very easy to understand, punctual and communicated very clear instructions to us regarding meeting point for the start of the tour well in advance. She knew all the questions we wanted to know without us even asking them and made us feel very comfortable the entire time. She was great about capturing photos along the way and after the tour she sent us a list and description of all the things we ate as well as additional recommendations for the rest of our time in Thailand. We are so happy to say that she was the first Thai friend we made on our trip!

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak cost?
+
Prices start at $1300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 112 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak?
+
Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Foodie Experience of Historic Bang Rak start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
