Great local food tour.
We had a great time with Pablo today. Was a great , upbeat tour of local markets and restaurants. We really enjoyed trying new foods, meeting the lovely local shop owners and learning more about Chilean food and culture. Pablo’s English is excellent and he made sure we knew about other local things to do after the tour.

Pablo’s food tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Santiago! You really feel like a VIP as you eat like kings throughout the tour. Just make sure you arrive hungry — there is a LOT of amazing food! Pablo is a fantastic guide with so much passion for what he does. His stories, knowledge, and enthusiasm really bring the experience to life, and you can tell how much he genuinely loves sharing Santiago’s food and culture with visitors. If you only have one day in Santiago, this is the tour I would book. It’s a fantastic way to experience the city, discover great food, and learn more about the local culture all in one unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

A fantastic experience, eating like a local!
What an amazing experience. I had been warned by someone not to go to the central market as it wasn’t safe as a tourist. However, Pablo was the most wonderful guide, we were completely safe, he is a real local and knew half the people at the market. He introduced us to fantastic local dishes and exotic fruit and ingredients. It was a real highlight of our time in Santiago and I highly recommend this tour. Be warned though, there’s so much food and you’ll have to cancel your dinner plans like we did after all we ate!

This is a ‘don’t miss’ tour. Pablo introduced us to the concept of “picada”. Reserved for down-to-earth, authentic, inexpensive, large portion restaurants, this tour does not disappoint. But that is the last stop on the tour. First you are treated to the market at a level enjoyed by locals. Foods not exported outside of Chile, local fruits and vegetables, and the vendors - interacting with people who have been at the market, or whose families have been at the market for decades. The 84 year old potato farmer, the ultimate empanada maker, the vendor with cuchayuyo , olives and pickles unlike other places in the world…truly a Chilean food experience. A treat at every turn.
