    Great food and highlights tour

Vanessa was a great guide, very knowledgeable and enjoyable! The tour hit some high spots of the city as well as olive oil, great lunch, and gelato. “Small group” was very small, as we were the only ones on the tour we got a private event that was great for us traveling with our 11 month old. Great tour and guide.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that Vanessa helped make your experience so memorable. It is especially rewarding to know that you appreciated not only the highlights of the city, but also the olive oil tasting, lunch, and gelato along the way. We are also very happy that the small-group format turned into a private experience for your family and that it worked well while traveling with your 11-month-old child. Thank you for choosing Local Guides Tour. We hope to welcome you back to Florence again in the future!

    Amazing must do

Vanessa and her husband was very persistent in making sure that I receive the change of meeting point location. We were late 15 min and arrived very stressful. They immediately made us feel welcomed and extremely comfortable at ease. it was just us and although our tardiness created a domino effect to the 3 taste/snack stops they still did not rush us. It was very obvious that they are both loved and respected. Very sweet knowledgeable and patient. So professional we gave them a S100 tip. Not bragging just making sure ALL that visit Florence purchased this tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We truly appreciate your kind words about Vanessa and Enrico. We are delighted that they helped make your experience enjoyable and stress-free, even after the unexpected delay. Their goal is always to make guests feel welcome and relaxed, and it means a lot to know that this came through during your tour. Thank you for your generosity and for recommending us to future visitors to Florence. We hope to welcome you back again someday!

    Fun evening in Florence

An enjoyable evening with the delightful Enrico! I was the only one who signed up and Enrico still held the tour. He was friendly and knowledgeable and gave a real local experience. We had an olive oil tasting where I bought some to take home and wine tasting where I did the same. We went to a restaurant for the final course and then down the street for gelato. I requested the food be vegetarian and the activity light on the alcohol and he was able to customize for me. I recommend this tour for a small group and personalized experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you, and honestly, there was no doubt about running the tour—every guest deserves a great experience, whether it's a full group or a solo traveler. I'm so glad you enjoyed the olive oil and wine tastings, as well as our stops for dinner and gelato. For me, "authentic experience" means exactly this: being able to customize the path and the menu to perfectly fit your preferences, like your vegetarian and light-alcohol requests. Thank you for recommending my tours. Enjoy your Tuscan wine and olive oil back home, and I hope to see you again in the future! Best regards, Enrico

Food Tour Florence Small Groups: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Food Tour Florence Small Groups cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Food Tour Florence Small Groups take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Food Tour Florence Small Groups worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Food Tour Florence Small Groups?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Food Tour Florence Small Groups suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Food Tour Florence Small Groups?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Food Tour Florence Small Groups start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
