    Great Tour By Gianmaria

At the end of May, my wife and I had an incredible tour of Volterra and Bolgheri by Gianmaria . He picked us at our cruise ship in Livorno and took us first to Volterra in Southern Tuscany. Gianmaria was personable and knowledgeable about the Etruscan and Roman culture and gave us plenty of time to visit this beautiful medieval city. We drove in his brand new Mercedes van in personal comfort. He then took us to the Super Tuscan city of Bolgheri where he booked us in a small restaurant for a delicious lunch. We visited a vineyard in Bolgheri for a special tasting. Besides a great tour, he was not hesitant to give us tips on other areas to see in Tuscany. I would highly recommend Gianmaria.

    Travel agent approved! ☺️

I just returned from Italy after leading a group of 25 people. As a travel agent accompanying this group, I had to find a reliable and trustworthy tour and transportation company. We flew into Rome, stayed a night then were driven to Tuscany (villa in Sarteano) where we stayed a week. We had 3 wine tours on one day in Montalcino for which the company chose exquisite wineries , another day in Montepulciano and another day in Sienna, all put together by this fabulous company. A week later, we continued our trip to Sorrento where we stayed an additional two nights. We were picked up at the train station and did a tour or Ravello, Amalfi, had lunch at La Tagliatas in Positano then shopped in Positano. They were beyond fantastic and not even comparable to the other driver companies I had for various parts. They all spoke good English, had spacious and well kept vehicles, very friendly and all on time. The rep I dealt with leading up to the trip was fantastic and she even took the time to call me on a few occasions. I would not hesitate to use this company again!

Great driver, efficient service, but small "limo"

The limo service was on time and efficient. Our driver, Claudio, was outstanding. He was the one who made the difference to push my review to five stars. Claudio was an amazing driver. Incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and motivated to provide top service. The only issue I had was that the for as much as we paid, the "limo" was a midsize Mercedes, that was actually a little on the smaller side. We had two large suitcases and only one would fit in the trunk. So we had to put the other one in the backseat and I rode in the front with Claudio. For what we were paying, the limo should've been a little larger. With that being said, I would recommend this service and ask for Claudio to be your driver.

    Outstanding service!

We booked three transfers with this excellent company. The first was from Venice to Florence stopping off at the Ferrari factory and museum on the way. Our driver Stefano was most courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, even going as far as to share one of his mother's recipes with us! The travel time flew by as he entertained us with facts and anecdotes and he took us to his favourite roadside cafe at a gas station for lunch. The visit to the Ferrari Museum was outstanding, but we would not waste money on the factory visit again if we had a choice. One merely rode through in a bus with a brief commentary as to what the buildings were and a bit of history. We then met up with Stefano again the following day to visit the Ducati Factory and Museum in Bologna, a bit of backtracking but so worthwhile. We even preferred it to the Ferrari visit as one was taken right through the factory on foot with a Ducati guide, seeing the making of these wonderful machines, and the museum was amazing. Stefano is very keen on MotoGP and motorbikes, so it was a pleasure to go through the museum and factory with him. The next time we met up with Stefano was our transfer a few days later from Florence to Rome, with a stop off in Pisa. Another great day and we so enjoyed his company and all the interesting facts he had to impart. We felt like we had travelled with a friend and not just a driver. I had booked these trips a year in advance and had exchanged many pleasant emails with the company director, Gianmaria Mariti, who was extremely patient and professional and answered all my questions quickly. My only regret was that it was not possible to meet up with him, but Stefano was wonderful and we highly recommend using this company. Thanks again Stefano for making our stay in Italy so enjoyable and I will always use your mother's recipe for cooking sausages in future, simply delicious!

Great stops, friendly driver, convenient door-to-door transfer ... couldn't ask for better!

Our group of five splurged a bit on this private transfer from Florence and Rome and it turned out to be a very wise decision -- the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at our hotel alone made it worthwhile! We knew we'd only have 1-1/2 hrs in Siena but our driver (I think his name was Stefano?) gave us good tips on how to spend the time. The lunch and wine tasting at Poggio Rubino was terrific, but we probably enjoyed the 50-year aged balsamic vinegar even more than the Brunellos! All in all, a wonderful day. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Grazie! Come back to Italy soon!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY cost?

    +

Prices start at $1037 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Florence to Rome with LIMOSERVICEINITALY start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
