Excellent Tuscan cooking class in florence
Fabulous pasta making experience in a small group of 8. We made 3 different types of pasta - ravioli, spirali and xxx. Simple recipes but felt like we were learning lots of skills. Very friendly team and in a setting with some great beers and wines around
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the small-group atmosphere and had the opportunity to prepare three different types of fresh pasta. (Ravioli, cavatelli and tagliatelle) Our recipes are intentionally based on simple, traditional ingredients, but during the class we try to share as many practical techniques as possible, so that our guests can confidently recreate the pasta at home. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we are also glad you enjoyed the unique setting surrounded by our selection of wines and craft beers. Thank you again for joining us!

Wonderful, personalized experience
Beautiful wine shop with kitchen studio in the back. Our teacher was lovely, welcoming, and shared many professional tips with us. There were only two of us in this particular class and we got lots of individual time and attention. The kitchen itself was beautiful, pristine and appointed with every imaginable kitchen gadget for making the various pastas. We made bruschetta, ravioli, and gnocchi, and got to enjoy all the dishes with a bottle of wine. Highly recommend this to all those with the love of cooking and a desire to learn to make realItalian food.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful review. It was truly a pleasure to welcome you and cook together. We especially enjoyed choosing the menu with you. Each of our classes has a specific theme and direction, but we always like to involve our guests in selecting the recipes, taking into account their tastes, interests, and what they would most enjoy learning. We are also very happy that you appreciated the individual attention. Our classes are intentionally kept small, and we are always delighted to hold a class even for just two guests. This gives us the time to work closely together, answer every question, and share the practical techniques and professional tips that can truly make a difference at home. One of the most important parts of our experience is that guests do not simply observe or assemble dishes prepared in advance. We cook everything together from beginning to end: the pasta dough, the fillings, the sauces, the gnocchi, the bruschetta, and every element of the meal. For us, this is the only way to fully understand authentic Italian cooking and leave with techniques that can be recreated at home. We are also very pleased that you enjoyed our space, where the cooking studio and wine shop come together. After all the work in the kitchen, sitting down to enjoy every dish with a good bottle of wine is an essential part of the Italian experience. Thank you again for your recommendation and for sharing such kind words. We hope you will continue preparing ravioli, gnocchi, and real Italian food at home, with wonderful memories of your time with us in Florence. With our warmest thanks, Chef Vary by Varinia Cappelletti

Great time and very accommodating
Chef Judah was very good with our small group, just the 4 of us. The experience planning our meal with the fresh ingredients and making the pasta was fun! And then eating it was great! He even accommodated our gluten free family member with a treat from another class happening the same night.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We are truly happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience, from selecting the fresh ingredients to making and enjoying your pasta together. Just one small note 😊 — the chef who had the pleasure of cooking with your group was actually Giulio . We will be sure to share your lovely feedback with him; he will be delighted to hear it! Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back to Florence for another culinary adventure in the future. Chef Vary & Team

Good food creates memories
My wife and I traveled to Italy to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and decided to book this experience. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Giulio was a fantastic host—funny, energetic, and clearly passionate about cooking and sharing his love of food. As it turned out, we were the only participants that day, so we enjoyed a private, hands-on, one-on-one experience with the chef. We made spinach and ricotta ravioli, tagliatelle with mushrooms, and gnocchi with marinara sauce. Giulio made the entire experience enjoyable, guiding us step by step through the pasta-making process. We also had the opportunity to meet Chef Vary, who was wonderful as well. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable experience, I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Italy.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful review — it truly means a lot to us. We are honored that you chose to celebrate your 30th wedding anniversary with this experience, and even more that it became one of the highlights of your trip. I will personally pass your kind words on to Giulio — he will be very happy to hear them. He puts so much passion and energy into every class, and it’s wonderful to know that it made your experience so special. Having a private, hands-on moment like that makes everything even more memorable! It was also a real pleasure for me to meet you, even if just briefly. Thank you again for your recommendation and for sharing your experience — we hope to welcome you back one day for another cooking adventure! Warm regards, Varinia (Chef Vary)

Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 537 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine?
+
Around 188 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Small-Group Pasta Class Seasonal Ingredients with Wine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
