    A corridor being... a corridor.

I didn't know what to expect - but it wasn't what we experienced: walking through a plastered corridor with pillars of un-named male busts along the side. Only. Well ventilated, well-painted, even floor, nice view left and right, but the corridor is only a corridor. I am humble it was renovated, but ...

    Great guide and great experience.

As a Florentine architect now living abroad, I truly appreciated Laura’s deep knowledge and her way of sharing important historical details. It was wonderful for our daughter to rediscover Florence through her guidance, and for her fiancé — visiting Italy for the first time and a true history enthusiast — to have Laura leading us with perfect English and engaging storytelling. Highly recommended!

    Great tour, Way Too Expensive

Our tour guide, Francesco, was PHENOMENAL: knowledgeable, easy to understand, and very accommodating. Uffizi and Vasari corridor were so wonderful to experience and learn about. My only reason for not giving more stars is the price. I almost feel like it was an error, as I have no idea why this tour was so expensive. Like astronomical.

Response from the operator: Hello Nicole, Thank you so much for your review! I’m truly glad to hear that you enjoyed the experience and that Francesco made such a positive impression — he’s indeed one of our very best guides. Regarding the price, I understand your concern. Please know that the cost of this tour reflects both the exceptional quality of the guide, as you kindly acknowledged, and the exclusive access to the Vasari Corridor, which is a very special and limited opportunity. The tickets for this unique experience come at a significantly higher cost compared to standard museum entrances. We believe that quality and exclusivity are worth the investment, but of course, we always want our guests to feel the experience matches the value. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again for another unforgettable visit! Warm regards, Elena

    Tour de force

We had a fantastic private tour with our knowledgeable and engaging guide, who shaped the tour to meet what she quickly learned about our interests and knowledge base. She even built in a coffee & wine break on the outdoor terrace (rest for feet that had climbed many towers and domes!). Her command of art history was impressive; she used the development of perspective and realism as an organizing story line as she took us expertly from masterpiece to masterpiece. Highest recommendation!

Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Florence’s Vasari Corridor & Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
