Nice and short visit to Florence
Good general tour of the city. Not very thorough but there is not enough time. If you are in Milan and want to make a quick stop to see Florence if you haven't before, this is a good option. But to fully explore the city will take another trip. The high speed train was nice.
Response from the operator: Good Morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Joseph, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed this first introduction to Florence, especially as a convenient day trip from Milan with the comfort of high-speed train travel. Florence is indeed a city that invites you to return and explore it more deeply, and we’d love to welcome you back for a longer, more immersive experience. Best regards from Florence, and arrivederci!

It was wonderful
I enjoyed my trip to Florence for the day from Milan. The only parts that made me a little anxious and that’s just on my end was going to the Central Milan station and looking for the train. I was supposed to take just as an FYI when you go to Central Milan station look for the time you’re train departs not the train number because some trains will have the same number, but not the same departure time so paying attention to that. Arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes before because your train doesn’t have a track number until they post it and you don’t want to be running late or right on time because some of the trains are delayed or don’t leave on Time. With that being said the company was great. The tour guide was great. She knew her stuff we walked around she told us interesting tidbits and the weather was phenomenal. I had enough time to walk around go to the Gucci museum and the Ferragamo museum and to see the original David at the Academy Galleria all in all it was a great time and I would highly recommend this company to do a day trip to Florence.
Response from the operator: Good Morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Haylie, Thank you very much for your detailed review! We’re delighted that you had a smooth and enriching day trip to Florence, visiting the museums and seeing the original David. Your tips about the train station are very helpful for future travelers. We hope to welcome you again soon for more discoveries in Forence! Warm greetings from Florence

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.
How much does Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train cost?
+
Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.
Is Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Renaissance and Medieval: Day Trip from Milano by High-Speed Train start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milan?
+
On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
