This was a private tour....
This was a private tour. Our guide got sick, so they sent a last minute substitute. She was awful. I don’t think she was even a trained guide.
Response from the operator: Hi Juanita, I'm really sorry for your review. I imagine there was no feeling with the guide to write such a bad review. I can understand it. What I cannot understand is the last sentence of your review, which I find highly offensive. In Italy the law defines tourist guides as a profession, with a license that is obtained after very difficult exams. To work as a guide without a license means doing something that goes against the law. It is important for me to clarify that we are used to following the rules, allways, and that the guides who work in collaboration with us all have a regular qualification. If we don't have an official guide available, we cancel the tour. Regards. Franceska

Legendary experience
A truly magnificent time. Our guide was Simona and she was beyond wonderful. She was knowledgeable, with degrees and research to prove it. It’s very easy to “walk” through three legendary museums. It’s quite another to be shown works of art in an order that tells a story, that helps you place the artist both in historical and modern contexts. I learned so much, was able to ask so many questions I had pent up for years, and set the stage for future explorations. We would take another tour with Simona in a heartbeat.
Response from the operator: Good morning Sir. I'm so happy to read your review! I just shared it with Simona and she would like to let you know that it has been her pleasure to guide you discovering Florence and its museums. We are glad you would like to come back and do more guided tours with us. Please, don't forget to send us a message where you remind us that Simona is the guide you would like to meet again. See you soon in our wonderful Tuscany!

Good information
Not for kids. Great information for adult’s interested in art but hard for children. Walking was manageable
Response from the operator: Good morning Ashika, I'm really sorry for your review. What I cannot understand is: why you complain about a tour not to be for children when your booking is for 4 adults? Are you sure you would like to review this tour? If you chose this tour and it was not the right one, I'm sorry for it. But I would like also to say that it is unfair to give a bad review for a wrong choice that has not been made by my agency. Regards

Great tour
Barbara was wonderful and we got to see all the significant pieces in the Uffizi and Accademia then some fun off the beaten track markets and resturants. Great wonderful tour!
Response from the operator: Hi Gary, thanks a lot for choosing Toscana Guide and for the time to write this review. Really appreciated! I'm so happy when I see my guests happy! See you soon in Tuscany! Arrivederci

Why this scores 43
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia cost?
+
Prices start at $474 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Private Walking Tour Including Uffizi and Accademia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
