Very upset
We payed for the gardens as well and were not told that we should go into gardens before the pitta tour. So we completely missed the gardens. I’m beyond upset as we were so looking forward to the gardens. This is the 2nd trip I booked through your company that has been miss leading and we missed the experiences promised to be included

Difficulty Obtaining Tickets/Over charging/ Cancelling Tours
Obtaining the tickets was difficult at the site. I had to go to the ticket office and they were able to find the tickets.....but it took a lot more time than it should have. We explored the gardens....but did not visit the palace. Plus, when I went to the ticket office they told me I could have gotten tickets for a quarter of the price. I am not happy about being taken advantage of. A couple years ago we booked a visit to Segovia and it was cancelled the day before....we made the trip, but arranged it with the concierge at the hotel. I thought I would give them a chance to redeem yourself but was once again disappointed. The service was once again not useful.....I will not use Viator again.

Pitti palace
The audio experience was not so good. There was no audio for the Pitti Palace. The fact you don't get the actual tickets until the day before creates a bit of a problem for someone who isn't the most tech savvy(Me). Anyway after a few harrowing minutes the ticket taker was very helpful in backtracking our admission and let us in.

To see
Superb palace and less frequented than other monuments On the other hand very complicated to get entrance tickets It was necessary to move to the Agency closed during the opening hours ... a lot of lost time
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens! We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the ticket collection. To ensure a seamless experience, we typically send all official tickets directly via email or WhatsApp, allowing guests to go straight to the entrance. While our office is available for those who specifically request printed copies, a physical visit is usually not required.

Do NOT take this tour.
Absolutely ruined our tour and our day. Instructions were confusing at best. There was nobody answering the “help” options. The ticket (which took us an hour to locate) kept timing out and disappearing, depending on cell service. There was no consistent wifi available at the Palace which meant the audio tour alsokept timing out and dropping. We would have been far better off to just buy tickets on site and COMPLETELY SKIP Viator. We will be requesting a full refund. This service was 100% unacceptable. We completely regret booking it.
Response from the operator: hi thanks for your review your feedback means alot for us we will pass this query to the concern team and they will check into it

Why this scores 40
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 40 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.2/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence: Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens Combo Ticket + Audio start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
