See Florence a little differently.
Robbin is a smart and patient photo tour leader. We saw angles and perspectives we probably wouldn't find on our own. We had a wide range of experience and equipment in our little group, but she was able to support all of us. I've taken three city walks with Aperture and haven't been disappointed.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review and for joining us for a third time! We are thrilled our team could support the whole group's varied skills and help you find those unique perspectives.

Excellent experience on 1:1 photo-workshop on Florence
Had a wonderful 3 hr photo tour with Robbin in Florence. She started by discussing my experience and how confident I was with the gear, then explored what I wanted from the workshop and thought about composition and subjects. We then moved initially away from the typical tourist areas for more street photography, looping round back to the centre while she showed me some great spots to capture some of the Florence landmarks. As well as discussing photography and photographers during the walk she also gave me some background on various Florence sights - from wine windows, to the duomo, to the changing fate of the iconic Odeon cinema. The light was starting to fade now so went back to a street photography focus as the building lights came on. Would recommend, and it added depth (and fun) to my Florence experience.
Response from the operator: It’s great to hear the mix of photography, local insight, and evolving conditions added both depth and enjoyment to your time in Florence.

Learn to truly see the most romantic city - Florence
I can't express enough for the incredible photography experience I had with Robin in Florence. As someone who know barely anything about photography, I was amazed by how much I learned in such a short time. The food photography session at Mercato Centrale was a highlight of my trip. Before working with her, I struggled to identify compelling subjects or focal points in my photos. It changed how I see potential shots – being conscious of recognising the main focus of the shots. Robin took the time to explain the technical aspects in a way that actually made sense to newbies. But the technical stuff asides, she also showed me various areas and angles around Florence that revealed the city's beauty in ways I would never have discovered otherwise. The cherry on top was her insider tips on where locals actually eat! These hidden gems added an authentic touch to the experience. You'll walk away with nice photos with the knowledge and confidence to continue improving your photography skills afterwards. Really can’t recommend this tour enough!
Response from the operator: We're so pleased to hear how much you gained from the experience and how it’s changed the way you see and capture photos. It's great that Florence’s beauty, local gems, and photography all came together for you.

Florence Photo Experience
My tour was with Robin. She is originally from the US so language was no issue. She knew the back streets of Florence very well. Her photography skills and helpful hints were very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience
Response from the operator: Exploring the city's hidden gems while improving your skills is exactly what we aim for. Thanks for your kind words.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson cost?
+
Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Photography Masterclass - Private Photography Lesson start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
