Unique and fun way to...
Unique and fun way to explore and learn the other side of things - as an English teacher/major I had a blast and my boyfriend loved the little historical facts along the way! Grab a drink and do it at night to add to the spookiness!

Cool Dante Tour
Excellent "game style" audio tour. We took the tour on a rainy day in november and we had umbrellas and gloves to juggle while navigating with our phone and trying to listen to the audio. Was challenging but the game-style of the tour made up for it - pointing out and asking us to find many very cool details that we'd NEVER see on our own! Learned more about Dante's writings, inspirations, people of his time, and walked the areas of some of his life. Was great - would recommend it, and would do it again. We now have a deeper appreciation of florence and will return to dig into more history.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful review and for choosing the Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour. We’re glad the game-style format helped turn a rainy day into a memorable experience and led you to discover details you might have missed otherwise. It’s great to hear the tour deepened your appreciation of Dante and Florence. We’d be happy to have you join another quest next time you’re in the city.

A Very Flawed Haunted Waste of Time
The whole experience was the worst. Why? The promo makes it sound appealing, fun and easy. After that it became anything but an enjoyable experience. Two huge issues. It took close to an hour on their chat to finally navigate the absolutely unnecessary steps needed to even have access to the game. Use the code emailed to you. Download the app. Register on the app. Even though the app asks you for your Google login you can’t use that. Why because it wasn’t the same as the purchase email. Ok, now logged in use one of three options to share the code. I chose send a link. Over a half hour later only a third of the group had what they needed. Oh, and this. While I chose only one specific game the person I was chatting with said the link was for both and that we had to decide. I only selected 1(ONE) and did not want the other. Then there is the game itself. It is nothing more than a scavenger hunt guised as “haunted.” It is nothing if the sort. Even the narrative when you get to a spot was uninteresting and too long making the whole experience a total waste of time. In fact that’s the only thing good about it, it occupied time!!
Response from the operator: We appreciate your feedback, and of course, are sorry that our game wasn't fit for your taste. However, we would love to invite you to give us one more try, and this time for free. If you are interested in trying another game, just contact us at explore@questoapp.com, and we'll unlock a different game for you that we are confident you'll enjoy. Every game in Questo is unique, and just like with movies, you might like some more than others, but that doesn't mean that you don't like movies.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Inferno: Dante’s Haunted Exploration Game and Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
