Error in listing
Guide was amazing but listing says this is a 2 hour tour. It’s more like 5 hours. We didn’t even get to Uffizi until 2.5 hours into the tour. Need to update your listing because when people are with kids, having the listing be off by double is unacceptable.
Response from the operator: Adam, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you thought your guide was amazing. Our guides work incredibly hard to bring the history, stories, and masterpieces of Florence to life, and we are very happy this part of your experience was so positive. We would, however, like to clarify the circumstances regarding the duration of your tour. On the day of your visit, your guide explained in advance that the experience would take longer than originally scheduled due to exceptional summer conditions affecting access to the Uffizi Gallery. You were advised of the extended timing and agreed to continue with the tour. During the peak summer months, the Uffizi Gallery experiences extremely high visitor numbers, and access is managed through restricted entry times and capacity controls. On particularly busy and hot days, the gallery must carefully regulate the flow of visitors entering the building for safety and comfort reasons, which can unfortunately create delays outside of the control of guides and tour operators. Our priority is always to provide the complete experience guests have booked rather than rush through one of the world’s greatest art collections. Your guide made every effort to ensure that despite these circumstances, you still received an engaging, informative, and memorable visit. We completely understand your comments regarding travelling with children and appreciate that unexpected extensions can impact family plans. Your feedback is valuable, and we will continue reviewing our tour information during peak periods to ensure guests are prepared for the possibility of delays caused by exceptionally busy museum conditions. Thank you again for joining us, and we are genuinely pleased that your guide helped create such a positive experience despite the challenges of a very busy summer day in Florence.

Cancellation disaster
I had to cancel my excursion to the Uffizi Gallery due to a fall on the ship & transportation from La. Spezia was over two hours away. I could not talk to anyone even though I emailed them & tried their customer service number! No way of communicating!! So if you have to cancel - good luck !!!!
Response from the operator: Debora, we’re very sorry to hear about your fall and truly hope you’re feeling better now. After checking our records, we did speak with you several times regarding your tour. Unfortunately, the cancellation occurred within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, at which point your tickets and guide had already been paid for. As a result, we weren’t in a position to offer a refund, as we had already incurred the full costs on your behalf. We completely understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen, and we genuinely sympathize with your situation. We would encourage you to contact your travel insurance provider, who should be able to reimburse you for any loss due to illness or accident. We hope you recover quickly and can enjoy a visit to the Uffizi on a future trip to Italy.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum cost?
+
Prices start at $115 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum take?
+
Plan for about 2.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence - Express Uffizi Gallery and Leonardo da Vinci Museum start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
