Awful rip off
Very expensive and useless tickets. Waited in long queue, produced ticket and told invalid - to go and get another ticket from office which was difficult ti locate. After more time wasted we returned to the back of the line: only to be told our entry time a lot had expired. We gave up, having wasted hundreds of dollars.

Not worth it
I really regretted getting this pass, I should have read the reviews and should have just booked tickets directly with the museums. In the pass, some information provided was outdated or wrong. When going to the accademia, the pass stated that we get a 9 minute VR experience- this does not exist anymore. The pass also stated we got entry into the museum of musical instruments in the Accademia, this is included in any entry ticket, it is not an additional cost or entry fee! It is therefore not a "perk". The pass also said to book guided walking tours 12 hours in advance. I tried to book a week before and they no longer had spots available for any of the 5 days we were there. The turbopass people refunded me 10 percent of our total pass cost, but the guided tours were one of the main reasons we got the pass in the first place...Also, having to pick up physical tickets and having to book some museums with a Slow tours office person was not ideal. We have used the Paris turbopass and found that much easier. The Gocity pass for London was also great value for money. Some of the museums included in the pass were not great, avoid the Medici museum.

Two day hop on hop off in Florence
Viator used a third party tour company. We never received the email instructing us to pick up our tour tickets prior to the tour starting. We missed the initial start time, and were told to go to the tour operators’ office to try to retrieve our passes. We went to the tour office to find out that there were two separate offices in Florence, and of course we were at the wrong one!! The local tour office was fantastic and accommodated us with passes to the two primary museums that we wanted to see, but we were disappointed with the communication (lack thereof) from Viator who we’d originally booked the tour with.

Too complicated. You have to find the office and go pick up the tickets the morning of or day of to even get tickets. Nothing turbo about it

Top Pass – Experience Florence in a relaxed way!
We were in Florence in June as a couple with our parents and in-laws – and the City Pass was a great decision! You already have a lot of admissions, which means less stress on site and no long queues, especially at highlights such as the Duomo, Uffizi or Palazzo Pitti – especially in the heat a real plus. Important: You should really read everything that is included in the pass and how it works with the reservations beforehand. Once you understand this, everything works great – it went smoothly with us anyway. Especially in a small group and with parents it was totally pleasant not to have to constantly search for tickets. Everything was well planned and we could really enjoy the time on site. We have tried City Passes on other trips – the Florence Pass is definitely one of the best for us. Clear recommendation for those who want to experience Florence without planning stress!
