Fantastic and hassle-free experience throughout the session. As a fairly experienced simmer, I can confirm that instrument flight procedures are reproduced in an extremely realistic way. Yesterday Saturday 21/03/26 I went to try the 90-minute flight experience, booked in January, at the IFLY simulator (B 737-800 ) in Turin, thinking of experiencing unique sensations given the advertising of the site that says ...." are you the pilot "...? I must for intellectual honesty make a necessary premise to understand the meaning of my negative review, which believe me I absolutely do not like to do but the disappointment was too strong. The two guys who assist you are Daniele and Riccardo who have both followed me and then I explain why both .They were very kind, extremely helpful and capable to whom my praise goes so nothing to say.The second premise is that I have been dealing with aviation for a few decades, I have followed the flight simulation since the plane was represented by a cross that ran on green phosphors monitors (early 80s) until today in which thanks to the current softwares it becomes difficult to understand where the simulation ends and where reality begins so much has reached almost perfection of both aircraft and scenarios .I studied on the texts of Rizzardo Trebbi, I followed the Flight School of Caselle and I built a faithful simulator reproduction of the Cessna Skyhawk and a partial simulator of the Embraer 145 and for some years I also fly with the virtual reality helmet Oculus Rift that adds an impressive level to the simulation itself.I also took some flying lessons really flying but small aircraft with instructor. That's why my expectations were very high. Let's get to the point. Arrived on the spot I know Davide and makes me enter the cockpit but DOES NOT MAKE ME SIT in the commander's seat that is to the left thing that I immediately point out but tells me ..." no but it is the same so much from the right you will be piloting etc. ". If the Pilot Flying sits on the left there is a reason and apart from the historical motivations if only only the comfort for those who are right-handed so much that I found it difficult for example by entering the way points in the FMC.MiI had asked time before which airport I wanted to leave and what was the destination to prepare the route etc. and I had asked for the Turin Frankfurt route that I often do both with my simulator and in reality.To my surprise Turin was not available for software problems ? Let's change with Milan. The seat was wobbly and uncomfortable had stuck and no longer went up or down making the position uncomfortable. The pedal was not easily reachable in my opinion due to a structural defect and when you had to brake with the tips of your toes it became a problem because either you had to lay everything back or you touched with your knees. The checklists were not executed except from memory by Daniele who said tap here, turn on the. turn off up pull down. etc. while it would have been better to have and follow the various chek lists as in reality.Some important details were basically ignored such as the Squawk, QNH ,external inspection and display of the response of moving surfaces to the movement of the bar etc.The Tiller would freeze and make movement on the ground impossible, the TRIM was broken and you had to control it by hand by turning the crank. Anyway you get to takeoff and my cloche was inactive because it was Daniele who piloted and here I pointed it out, other than ..." you are the pilot "..The scenario was nothing short of ridiculous and embarrassing .It was what was in the very first versions of flight simulator. I now understand that the flight model is more important and therefore a more faithful response to piloting capability is possible but also a more realistic ground scenario would be desirable. After about half an hour of flight the system goes into CRASH and turns everything off. I wait for Davide to go to restart the simulator and at this point we restart but from Monaco .I had to consult a map that I had brought for some data, given the variation of rotation, but the light of the cockpit was broken and you could not see almost nothing so much the cabin was in the dark. At takeoff the same thing is repeated that it is he who pilots the plane and then I tell him clearly that I had come to pilot myself showing a ... slight ... disappointment. After a few minutes Riccardo comes to give him the change and so I met him too. Within about five minutes we land and once off the runway my Tiller again did not work and we stopped in the lawn. At this point I thanked and I left not without first making known my total disappointment and disappointment also because for what I received were enough 10 euros and not 100 (the price was 139 but with the black friday there was a discount). Daniele himself confirmed to me that the whole system was old and that within two months they would have new seats, repaired the trim, tiller, etc. and would make improvements while Riccardo suggested I phone Marco to explain my dissatisfaction which I did but I did not get an answer as after making the mobile number the line dropped immediately. In conclusion this is a simulator that urgently requires software and hardware updates and improvements and more correct advertising. I also recommend dividing access to the simulator between those who don't even know how a plane is made by those who already have experience and expect different treatment. For many people entering a cabin like the one full of light switches on all sides can make a certain effect and then in the end they are all excited but as far as I was concerned I could enter a carnival with a few euros and have the same effect .Stante so things an experience of this kind can be passable , at a high price, for those who have no or very little knowledge of this type but for everyone else is absolutely inadequate and a total waste of time and money

Ci tengo a rassicurarLa su un punto per noi fondamentale: siamo estremamente attenti alla qualità del servizio e non ci sottraiamo mai alle nostre responsabilità. Proprio per questo, dopo aver approfondito internamente con il nostro staff, possiamo confermare che la Sua esperienza è stata purtroppo particolarmente sfortunata, in quanto si sono verificati, nella stessa sessione, diversi inconvenienti non riscontrati né nel volo precedente né in quello successivo. Detto questo, mi permetto di fornire alcune precisazioni utili a chiarire meglio alcuni aspetti da Lei segnalati. Per quanto riguarda i contatti telefonici, Le assicuro che non risultano chiamate ricevute nelle giornate del 21 e 22 marzo: diversamente, saremmo stati ben lieti di intervenire immediatamente per porre rimedio all’accaduto. Il nostro obiettivo è sempre quello di assistere tempestivamente i clienti e trovare una soluzione nel più breve tempo possibile. In merito agli aspetti tecnici, desidero precisare che il ruolo di “pilot flying” non è legato alla posizione sul sedile di sinistra, che è invece riservata al comandante. Il pilot flying può essere, come da prassi operativa, anche il primo ufficiale seduto a destra. Relativamente alla postazione, abbiamo riscontrato che il cliente precedente aveva accidentalmente sganciato un componente del sedile: si tratta di un intervento che richiede tempo per essere ripristinato correttamente e che, in quel momento, non è stato possibile risolvere immediatamente. Per quanto riguarda invece le problematiche legate a scenari e crash, utilizziamo piattaforme software professionali di simulazione che, come noto anche agli utenti più esperti, possono occasionalmente presentare instabilità non completamente dipendenti dalla nostra gestione. Nel Suo caso specifico, un evento iniziale ha generato una serie di criticità a cascata durante la sessione. Ci teniamo però a sottolineare che si tratta di situazioni rare e non rappresentative dello standard dell’esperienza. Nel corso degli anni abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare numerosi appassionati ed anche piloti professionisti, che utilizzano il nostro simulatore per addestramento insieme al nostro comandante, riscontrando livelli di soddisfazione molto elevati. Per quanto riguarda infine le procedure operative (checklist e flussi), il nostro approccio è stato studiato per offrire un’esperienza completa ma equilibrata nei tempi: un’esecuzione integrale e rigorosa richiederebbe infatti durate significativamente superiori rispetto a quelle previste, risultando poco fruibile per la maggior parte dei clienti. Per questo abbiamo sviluppato un metodo che coniuga realismo, comprensione e sostenibilità dell’esperienza. RinnovandoLe ancora le nostre scuse, desidero ribadire quanto già condiviso telefonicamente: saremmo stati lieti di riprogrammare integralmente l’esperienza oppure, in alternativa, procedere con il rimborso.
