Great value Tour for Solo travellers
Did the Madrid Free walking tour in the afternoon as soon as I got into Madrid. Found Sylvia in Sol square easily. They need a minimum of 3 people and luckily we managed that number. Sylvia is an excellent guide, she communicated with us in both English and Spanish and told us a bit about the history of Madrid, took us walking around the central area and ended at the Egyptian Temple. Walking was easy with frequent photo stops. You are free to tip anything or nothing at the end of the trip. I enjoyed the free tour a lot so booked the Flamenco and Flavours tour 2 days later. There are no veggie food options on the tour so I had my dinner before joining the tour around 8.30pm. Again it was a nice small group of 4 people and we started the evening with delicious Churros dipped in chocolate, then we walked to a local pub for Madrono shots in chocolate cups, I did not like the taste much. We also had a glass of wine or beer with a tapa, just olives for me. Then walked past the beautifully lit Palace to the Flamenco show at Las Tablas at 10pm. You can buy drinks here if you want. The show is about an hour long and really good, enjoyed the dancing and music. We were then given an option of joining the pub crawl for free, our guide escorted us to the pub. Sylvia was the guide for the pub crawl and this is where she really shines, she is great fun. It was a large group this time and we visited 4-5 places, you could keep going as long as you wanted. People who left would just tell Sylvia and she would give them directions to go home. All the places were in the Sol general area. Felt very safe being with the group, would not have ventured out alone otherwise. Was great that we did not have to pay any entry fees at the pubs and clubs and one free shot at each place. You could buy more drinks at reasonable prices. All places had good music and a very nice vibe, lots of happy but not rowdy drunk people so it felt fun but safe. Sylvia would blow her loud whistle to get people moving from one club to the next, in between she would count us to make sure nobody got left behind. The whole thing cost just E28 which was a bargain, normally just the flamenco would cost more than that. Highly recommend it for a great night out.

Very unprofessional tour. When we...

Very unprofessional tour. When we arrived at the flamengo show we were asked to move from our seats where we could see and move to the very back row where it was impossible to see the stage. After the show the guide was stuck in her phone and got us lost in a shady part of town and club was a dive.

This was the way to see the fun...

This was the way to see the fun festive side of Madrid. It was a great late night adventure. It started with a little history and culture, followed with some fun hidden stops was so much history that we never would've found on her own. The flamenco dancing was incredible… And then to be able to party like a local from bar to bar was amazing! We were out celebrating our 20th anniversary… And we were able to feel like we did it with all of the locals in the best way possible!

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar cost?
+
Prices start at $114 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Flavours & Flamenco in Madrid Experience + Exclusive Bar start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
