    Super informative

I learnt so much in this workshop, highly recommend! It showed me how healthy, versatile and balanced the Indian cuisine can be in comparison to the restaurant food. Also got a lot of practical tips on how to use spices and when, and we got a list of recipes in the end to take home to try!

    Insightful & cultural cooking experience

This was such a wonderful cooking experience. Anchal was absolutely lovely, accommodating me after I confirmed the booking at late notice. The kitchen was clean and had a lot of space, despite me being the only person on the day (monsoon season). Anchal was an excellent cook and teacher, not only did I learn hoe to cook several home staples of North India, Anchal also provided extraordinary insight into food culture, customs, and the science behind a healthy, balanced, and varied Indian diet. I learnt so much, I wouod highly recommend this to everyone, whether your a beginner Indian food cook or already have experience like me... you will learn something new regardless! Thank you, Anchal, I hope to visit again in the future.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted you enjoyed the cooking, cultural insights and learning experience. We look forward to welcoming you again!

Wonderful Cooking Class With Outstanding Teacher

The setting was professional, efficient and spotless. Our instructor was a great teacher — strong presentation and communication skills. She moved through the multi-course menu with us but still answered every question we had about the dishes but also about India, food, family life. She was really great. Good sense of humor, kind person.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled you enjoyed the class, conversations, and experience. Hope to cook with you again!

A beautiful Indian meal that was tasty and cooked by me! (with some great instructions by Sonal)

What a great experience this turned out to be. Sonal was an amazing teacher and person. Her instructions made it seem easy, but I guess we'll see when I try these recipes somewhere else. What a delicious meal and so much variety to work with in the future. The time went by fast but it was amazing how much we got done in two hours and then - what a wonderful feast! Thank you Sonal! And Thank youth your helper who did so much in the background while you taught me these amazing lifeskill.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review! It was a joy to cook with you. We're delighted you enjoyed the experience and can't wait to hear how your homemade Indian feast turns out. Hope to see you again soon!

Five Course Cooking Class & Meal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Five Course Cooking Class & Meal cost?

    +

Prices start at $61 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Five Course Cooking Class & Meal take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Five Course Cooking Class & Meal worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 280 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Five Course Cooking Class & Meal?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Five Course Cooking Class & Meal suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Five Course Cooking Class & Meal?

    +

Around 98 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Five Course Cooking Class & Meal start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
