Change of plans by the captain meant a trip was more likely to be disappointing.

The captain wanted to change the time of the trip at short notice, and these discussions tipped over into the 7-day-non-cancellation period, but he was not willing to offer a full refund when the trip did not meet our needs. I was also disappointed that FishingBooker - where I booked the trip - were unable to see my point of view.

    TERRIBLE OPERATOR

I wish I could give 0 stars!! This is a SCAM. Firstly, they overbooked our boat. What was a small boat was filled with 8 guests paying. This was after they convinced us to change our booking to this day due to "weather". Other guests were so outraged they demanded their money back and didn't even come on the boat. Once we were on the boat, we quickly realized the captain and his mate had absolutely no idea how to fish. We trolled for 7 straight hours, changed absolutely nothing, and the captain said it was a "great day". We were infuriated. PLEASE don't book Royal Charters if you want a good experience!!! Your money is better off just thrown in the ocean as fish bait.

    Warning rip-off

We booked for 2 days full charter. The service offered is just a cashing in. The first day was supposed to be a so-called Boddentour, we were parked on a seagrass meadow, on which, as is well known, there are no large fish. In the 4 hours, legend and writing 3 fish with a size of about 15 cm were caught. I think we have been deliberately kept away from the rocks under water as it can lead to hangers and thus to loss. The offered catching material consisted of a broken and several very soft rods , the bobbins had about 60m of string, one even only 30m. Second day was a Tuna tour, offered 7 hours. Upon arrival we were informed that the booked boat unfortunately has a damage and we can only go out with the smaller one, however we immediately had the feeling it is only pretended to save fuel. The trolling rests were applied immediately after the port exit and we then dragged to the end of the bay Alcudia to a water depth of 60 m, once there we should then fish on account of the device from the previous day, the depth was 63 m my spool had only 60 m, on request they said ,the biting also higher. Furthermore, we found we were again on a seagrass meadow. After we made our displeasure known, the captain's mood became uncomfortable. Our advice we had booked a Bluefin tour and no Boddentour, was ignored by the captain with the statement the bite also off the shore and that for 1.200,00 EUR. On the way back we were towed to the port entrance average depth about 20 m. When we asked for an explanation from the captain for this shit, a reception committee was already waiting for us in port and were loudly insulted by the captain's family. Of course, we had to hand over the money in cash without a receipt before the boat left. You could have guessed it before, here the fishing is not wanted, the boat had never seen a fish , it was completely clean without even a little dried blood, even a gaf there was not on the boat only a bait fish net. The rods, baits and reels were junk. No booms, no downriggers, no attractants just nothing. There was no food either and you forgot the drinks. Better check out other providers. Just as a quick note, I'm a professional fisherman and I know when to get screwed fishing. So hands off and have a nice holiday. For the next exit we booked with a reputable company. Oh finally , we left 15 minutes later, but he also broke up 30 minutes earlier.

Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices cost?

    +

Prices start at $223 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 35 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.8/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fishing with Royal Charters Mallorca Best prices start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
