I booked this private...
I booked this private excursion with the intention of bringing my son and daughter, 15,12 years old. Perhaps not for teenagers or anyone giddy about swells and big sea’s. The Sea was extremely choppy with lot’s of swell, enjoyed it but had to cut the 4 hour trip short as everyone was feeling rather green. I Barracuda caught so that was a bonus!!

A must do!!!
Captain Carlos and crew were awesome!

Guy and Lebron got us on...
Guy and Lebron got us on the fish quickly. After a couple hours, half the family were seasick (not the crew’s fault) but we had already caught 8 Mahi Mahi. We caught a 9th on the way back. We then went back to the beachside restaurant and Guy got our caught grilled and served within minutes of being caught on the boat. Very good for families with younger children. Ours are 8 and 11.

The captain and crew were...
The captain and crew were supper friendly. They continuously worked their tails off to put us on fish and keep us satisfied. They offered way more than the listing described. Our group hooked 4 dolphin and lost one due to a tangle. We also caught 5 barracuda. We were completely satisfied with the entire experience. Being the avid fisherman we are, we knew what to expect. This is fishing, not catching. We have spent thousands on bait and fuel in the past with zero fish caught. That is exactly what did not happen on this trip. We had great interactions with the crew. We all caught fish. And have absolutely zero complaints. Just have realistic expectations and I promise you will leave satisfied.

Check your captains equipment before you get on the boat.
We arrived to the dock and when we boarded our vessel we quickly noticed ours was the most run down of all of them. We were out by other vessels on the water and every other boat was catching fish. We hooked one, but after looking at the hooks, we quickly realized why we weren't catching any because the hooks the guy was using were so rusted. The equipment was all in really awful shape. We could have easily caught fish had the equipment been better. It was also really disappointing to watch the first mate and captain just throwing garbage over the side of the ship, and letting garbage fly out.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We take all comments seriously and have reviewed your concerns. Our boats and fishing equipment are regularly inspected and maintained in accordance with operational and safety standards before each trip. We also maintain strict operational and environmental procedures on board. Any behavior that does not align with these standards is not part of our company practices, and your comments will be taken into consideration as part of our internal review process. We appreciate your feedback. Kind regards.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina cost?
+
Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does FISHING PRO CHARTERS - Boat Excursion - Divina start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
