Great birthday fishing trip!
We had a great time fishing. Captain Mike was awesome. I took my son for his 10th birthday and it was his first time fishing, Mike did a great job of teaching and helping my son. My son caught 11 fish and had a great time. Definitely will book again next time we are in Fort Myers.

Awesome experience, would do it agaib
Captain Mike was an excellent guide. He did well to explain the type of fish we were catching, the strategies to employ in order to catch the fish, and went above and beyond in baiting our hooks and cleaning the fish afterward. He was constantly paying attention to our group of five and ensured to help us even when we didn’t know we needed it. Best valued fishing excursion in Fort Myers, would love to do it again (especially if there were an all day option).

So much more then just fishing.
We had an absolutely amazing time with Good Times Charter! Our guide, Mike, was incredible—he knew all the best fishing spots and kept us catching fish the entire trip. You can tell he truly loves what he does and wants everyone to have a great experience. This trip was so much more than just fishing. Mike even knew how to attract dolphins, which made the day even more special. We also got to see a stingray, which was such a cool surprise! From start to finish, it was fun, exciting, and something our whole family will remember. If you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water, we highly recommend Good Times Charter—ask for Mike, you won’t be disappointed!

Good Time Charters - Capt. Mike: THE BEST!
A great morning fishing with Capt. Mike (previous Coast Guard)! He's experienced and knowledgeable about the waters and wildlife. He keeps us moving until we start to reel 'em in! Have booked with Good Time Charters for (eek!) 20 years now. Guarantee you a wonderful and memorable day on the water!

Great time with Captain Mike
We had a great time! Mike was so helpful in finding fish, baiting my hook, giving instructions and netting our fish. . His boat was very comfortable with a bathroom, shade and plenty of seating. He cleaned our fish and we cooked them. They were delicious. He filleted them so well that there was not 1 bone. We will be back next year and will go out with Captain Mike again.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Myers.
How much does Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $625 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Myers usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Myers is not rushed.
Is Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Myers, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Myers can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Myers and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fishing Charter Fort Myers Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Myers within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Myers?
+
Fort Myers is the jumping-off point for Sanibel, Captiva and Cayo Costa: shelling cruises, dolphin watches, Everglades airboats to the east and sunset sails from the beach pier. On Outty we rank every Fort Myers experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2.5-Hour Guided Group Kayak Tour on Big Hickory Pass, Southwest Florida Sunset Sail, Dolphin and Manatee Adventure Tour of Fort Myers. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Myers?
+
December to April for dry, calm Gulf days. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Myers?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
