About this experience
Just landed in Prague? We've got your first evening covered. This isn't a typical food tour. Four Czech-owned spots in Old Town, zero tourist traps, and portions generous enough that you'll leave fully fed. We've handpicked every stop: the unique beer hall locals actually drink at, the family-run restaurant with no English menu, the bistro that's been here forever. You'll taste beef with dumplings, delicious goulash, Czech beer or wine, and desserts you won't find at the tourist market stalls. But honestly? The food is only half of it. You'll also get the crash course in how Prague works — where to eat tomorrow, what to skip, which neighborhoods matter, how to order beer without looking like a tourist. We keep groups small so it feels like dinner with locals, not a crowd following a flag. Want it private? We do that too — same spots, your own guide, your own pace. By the end of the night, you'll know the city well enough to explore confidently the next day. Which is exactly the point.

This is how you start in Prague
Kuba knows his stuff! Not only did he make the experience super friendly but was always making sure people were having a great time and enjoying the tour themselves. As a first day trip even after the long flight and the jet lag, this was a great way to start Prague off right. Not only does he give you a great start to know about the culture and history but, also provides you with dishes and drink that not only fill the belly but also the weary soul! Highly highly recommend!

Fantastic food and culture tour! Nikki our guide was so knowledgeable and the food stops were great! We never felt rushed and she showed us many interesting sights in the city. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and had plenty to eat! Do not eat before this tour.

This was a great...
This was a great experience, there were many delicious dishes to enjoy and our guide Nikki gave us some fascinating local context about what we were eating as well as lots of info about the area we were walking through. She also had useful tips about where else we should visit in Prague and also what to avoid. Highly recommended.

Why this scores 86
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You cost?
+
Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 682 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You?
+
Around 239 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does First Night Prague Food Tour: Perfect Spots Curated for You start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
