    Great tour guide and tour

Vincenzo was an excellent guide. Explained each area perfectly, gave free time, fantastic recommendation for lunch. Kept the group together, perfectly. Really nice tour to see multiple places. Time goes by quick but the memories will last forever.

Amalfi Coast is crowded, but we had fun.

We had a great time. Tour and lunch was great.

    Not exactly what we expected

To start with, let me say our driver, Gaetano, was excellent. We couldn’t believe how well he drove on the twisty windy road between the cities. We did not realize that most of this eight hour tour would be spent driving, with only 30 minutes in one stop, and about an hour in each of the other two stops. There was no optional lunch as the tour description described. And no time to sit and eat a real lunch in any of the stops. If you are looking for a way to see Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi in a very cursory way, this is the tour for you. If I were to come back to this area, I would focus on going to only one city and staying for a while ( and I will definitely go to a less touristy area), versus trying to hit all three. Gaetano tried to help us make the most of our day, but it was just disappointing to spend so much of it on the road sitting in traffic.

    Unforgettable family memories

Amazing unforgettable family memories. Our driver Francesco was entertaining, safe driver and it turned out he was a classical pianist and sang opera to us. He tailored the trip based on how we felt and really enjoyed that he included songs from our homeland as well. Amalfi Coast - Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii were special places. At Pompeii our tour guide Roberta was also entertaining, knowledgeable and made this tour highly enjoyable. At Amalfi coast Francesco took us to an amazing restaurant where the good just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Response from the operator: Thanks for taking the time to write such a complimentary review about our services. We are glad to know that you enjoyed your time in Italy with Mondo Guide Agency and we hope to see you again in Italy soon. Best Regards Bruna Pauciullo.

Best Tour of Amalfi coast and Pompeii

Fantastic tour of Positano, Sorrento, and Pompeii. This was the best 8 hour tour we have experienced. The tour guide Tommaso, and driver Dominico took great care of the group, they gave us over two hours of free time, gave us clear directions and ensured our safe return. The tour itself covered some spectacular scenery and many interesting and unique shops. Highly recommend tour and guide.

First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.

How much does First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.

Is First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does First Class Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi with Optional Unique Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Salerno?

    +

On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Salerno?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Salerno?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
