Sri Shakti Temple
The Temple is built in strict conformance to the prescriptions of sacred Hindu Vedas and Aagamas. Muthukumara Shivachariyaar, a renowned national and regional spiritual and religious Hindu leader, the Sri Shakti Temple is not just another place of worship, but one that will stand as a prominent Hindu landmark in Malaysia.

As a historical place, Bukit Melawati has several remnants from the past that appeal to those interested in its history. A few leftover cannons and foundation stones attract visitors here for their historical values of Bukit Melawati . The Hill of Melawati is also home to the Silver-Leafed Monkeys and Long-Tailed Macaques. You can purchase peanuts from vendors around the area at Bukit Melawati and feed the monkey. Although the Silver-Leafed Monkey are generally quite gentle, visitors are advised to be cautious with the Long-Tailed Macaques as they can be highly mischevious. Just be careful when feeding them as they are considered wild creatures and can be dangerous when provoked.

Awesome tour
Did the silver leaf monkeys, fireflies, blue tears and eagle feeding. It was all excellent, the monkeys are amazing, fireflies are gorgeous and blue tears are lovely. Would highly recommend Some advice: fireflies and mosquitos go hand in hand so take bug spray if you're not big on mosquitos. The boats are loud when they're at full speed so earplugs/earphones might be worthwhile if you're sitting at the back (like i was) The fireflies and blue tears are very subtle, dont expect big flashing neon lights. Theyre more like twinkling little pinpricks of light among the mangroves. Blue tears are the same

It was an excellent tour. Ben, our driver and guide, was brilliant. He was informative and interesting plus we didn’t stay too long at any place. Perfect tour and the right amount of time. We saw the best of KL all in one day.

Great experience!
We were visiting on a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line and had an overnight port stop. While most people headed into Kuala Lumpur, we decided to do something different and spent our time in Kuala Selangor — and we’re so glad we did! We booked a firefly and eagle feeding tour, and it was such a chill, memorable experience. Seeing the eagles up close was incredible, and the fireflies at night were absolutely magical. It felt peaceful and authentic — a perfect change of pace from the city. The real surprise bonus was the food add-on we included with our booking. After the tour, we asked how to redeem it and were told to head to a local restaurant called The Traffic Light. Since we didn’t have a car (we were walking), one of the staff members kindly offered to drive us there themselves. That level of hospitality completely blew us away. At The Traffic Light, we were served two very generous crab pots overflowing with crab, shrimp, clams, and vegetables — plus two large plates of fried rice (one vegetable and one chicken). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and more than enough food. We ended up ordering a few additional dishes because it all looked so good! From start to finish, the entire experience was fantastic. The tour was relaxing and unique, the food was outstanding, and the staff’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond truly made our day. If you’re stopping in the area, we highly recommend choosing Kuala Selangor and adding the food option — you won’t regret it!

Blue Tears, Fireflies, Monkeys and Temples
Amazing experience - our tour guide LG was fantastic and was happy to answer any questions we had. Visited Bukit Rotan, the Silverleaf monkeys at Bukit Melawati and the blue tears and fireflies at Kuala Sengalor (where I also had the best food for around £2.70GBP). Totally recommend if you’re visiting the area. Make sure to visit the Sky Mirror too!
