10. The Santozeum is a special place in the cultural landscape of Fira. Perched on the cliffs of the caldera, this amazing building has lived several lives. When it opened in 2011, it first made itself known by exhibiting faithful reproductions of the Minoan frescoes discovered in Akrotiri.

11. You are now in Agiou Mina Street, one of the most picturesque walks in Fira. This alley runs along the cliff and offers spectacular views of the caldera every step of the way. 12. Metropolitan Church of Ypapanti Thira

    You are in front of the Holy Metropolitan Church of Ypapanti, the great Orthodox cathedral of Fira. Built in 1827, it is dedicated to the Presentation of Christ in the Temple and remains today the religious seat of the island.

13. Museum of Prehistoric Thira

    The Prehistoric Museum of Thira is one of the must-see places in Fira. Inaugurated in 2000, it was built to house the treasures discovered at the archaeological site of Akrotiri, this Bronze Age city often nicknamed "Aegean Pompeii".
