What you get
About this experience
Join this special Gaudí experience! Learn about modernism and the famous Catalan architect during a two hours walk. Have your hands-on experience in a workshop in the historic center where you will create your own souvenir in Gaudí´s mosaic style called Trencadís. Why is there a dragon on the roof top? Why was a bat decisive in a battle? Where is the House of Bones? During the walking tour we will make the connection from medieval history and legends to what inspired Gaudí and other architects when designing buildings along the grand Passeig de Gracia. From street pavement to lamp posts – all have a story that we want to tell you! The walk will lead us to Angelika´s workshop where you will learn the mosaic art named “Trencadís”. This technique - using materials such as shards of glass or ceramics - can be found on Gaudí´s work. After a short introduction you will learn the basics, handling of tools and how to create your first masterpiece such as a fridge magnet or the top of a box.

Fantastic guides and services!
Barcelona Feeing is attentive to detail and willing to customize for group needs! We had a large group of university students for walking tour and they were fantastic with the students connecting with them and ensuring all went smooth for a group of 30 +. We will definitely use again.

Great afternoon
We would recommend this fabulous and interesting tour. We went with children aged 9-11. We all found Christian was engaging and knowledgable, with lots of good anecdotes. Because of the small group, there was plenty of time to ask questions. We all enjoyed the mosaic workshop - time for a little mosaic on a fridge magnet or box.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Kitty! Glad that all your family had fun during the experience! It was a great pleasure. Enjoy your souvenirs! Best wishes, Christian & Angelika

Great tour, also with kids
Since we did an online tour of Barcelona with the whole family during Corona times, it was finally time for us to travel again. Of course we wanted to do a live tour with Christian. Since I was traveling with my 9-year-old son, we decided to go on this architectural tour with a mosaic workshop. We weren't disappointed. Christian has matched the content wonderfully to the age of my son, so he was not bored during the two-hour walk. Together we discovered the dragon on Gaudí's Casa Battló and learned the exciting legends behind it. Christian then took us to the workshop of Angelika, who is a master in the art of Gaudi mosaics. Together we created a picture frame from trencadís, which we could take with us as a great souvenir. It was an exciting morning with a lot of variety. The tour is suitable for both adults and children. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Herzlichen Dank für diese tolle Bewertung! Wir freuen uns sehr, dass der Mix unserer Tour für die ganze Familie spannend ist! Viel Spaß mit dem Souvenir und alles Gute! Christian

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $54 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Feel like Gaudí: Barcelona Mosaic Workshop with Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
