Top tour of the island
Two friends travelling, took this tour and got a great insight into the island in a unique 4x4 Martin was a great guide, we sampled some lovely family wine at a beautiful location for a swim, the trip was filled with lots of family & island history. The tour included the fabulous Olive oil museum & tasting; the highest point Vodova Gora, beautiful views of Bol & the other islands; views & history of the Blaca Hermitage, monastery complex and school; completed with a fantastic meal at Konoba nono Deslav, Podhume.

Jeep tour of Braĉ
What a day. Guide was excellent. Great with historical reasoning and fact without being too much. Very passionate about the island. Olive oil museum was very entertaining, and the food provided for the day ("snacks" at the Olive Oil Museum and lunch at the Kobona) was stunning. The route was mainly off road which made the day even better. It added something special when travelling between villages and made us aware of how the people and history of Braĉ have been formed over the years. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Brad.

Unique and unforgettable experience
An absolutely fantastic and unique experience from start to finish. The jeep safari was a brilliant way to explore the island, taking us to places you simply wouldn’t be able to reach by car. We visited the Olive Oil Museum for a tasting, which was really interesting and the guide was brilliant We then continued up to the highest point on the island where the views were breathtaking seeing Zlatni Rat beach from above was a real highlight. We also had time to explore Bol Town, which was beautiful, before finishing the day with an incredible meal at a local konoba. The food was amazing, and it was lovely to experience a more authentic side of the island (and even see some animals along the way!). The whole day was well organised, relaxed, and full of memorable moments. A huge thank you to our guide for making it such a special trip. Also, a big shout out to the couple from Leicester who joined me for the tour they made my experience even more enjoyable! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island. It’s something you won’t forget
Response from the operator: Thank you Gemma! We are glad you had a nice time, and hope you will visit us again sometimes.

Can’t recommend high enough!! You won’t be sorry, especially if you like history (but not necessary to enjoy).
While staying in Split for a week, we took a ferry for the day to Brac. Ivo met us at the ferry in his “Jeep” and we took off on one of the most unique experiences. Ivo is a multi-generational native to the island and his knowledge of it’s history was extremely impressive. The island itself has such a unique landscape this is truly the best way to see so much of it. Our visit to the Olive Oil museum was wonderful, and our meal later in the day was one of the best of our trip. We can’t say enough to recommend Ivo and his Jeep tour. Our group consisted of our me and my husband with three kids, 23, 24 and 25 years old. They loved it!!
Response from the operator: Thank you Julia, we are very pleased you all had a great time. Do not hesitate to visit us again, we may find some work at the farm for your son ;)

Best way to see, feel and taste the Island Brac and enjoy all that the locals have to offer.
This was an all day jeep experience. No better way to see, taste and feel the life of Island Brac. Ivan was an excellent guide. He took us to many places and explained the history of the area. We enjoyed the Olive making museum. The views and photo opportunities were amazing. The town of Bol was wonderful. We had time to visit the winery and sample, and purchase, so wonderful wines. We also enjoyed a drink by the beach. We were visiting a little before season so the water was a bit too cold to swim. The dinner at the end of the trip was outstanding. This trip lets you really enjoy all that the locals have to offer. We appreciated the opportunity to say a prayer at a small chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes. You do not want to miss this Jeep Experience when you visit Brac.
Response from the operator: Thank you Yvonne, we are glad you enjoyed your day with us!

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember cost?
+
Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 110 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember?
+
Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Feel and Taste island Brac with local experts - island adventure to remember start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
