You will explore the great monuments of Fatehpur Sikri while discovering the lesser-known histories and human stories that make the city remarkable. What you'll see and do
Fatehpur Sikri
In this 3-hour special walk we explore the city of Fatehpur Sikri. Commissioned by King Akbar, the city was a dedication to the Pir of Akbar Salim Chishti, who resided in the village of Sikri. The city of Fatehpur is no less than a palace full of magic and equally mysterious is the reason why it was deserted. From having the biggest doorway of the world to the multi pillared hall of religious debates, the city of Sikri has much to see and as much to hear. In this walk, we cover the city complex and also visit the sites around the complex that are equally historic.
