A nice experience, if you dont' have high expectations

It's a nice experience, although quite expensive. The view isn't exceptional, and the experience itself is quite short (less than a minute). Thrill-seekers may want to look elsewhere; families with younger children will probably enjoy it the most.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your honest feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the experience. 😊 Our zipline ride itself is around a minute long, but the full experience includes the hike, preparation, views, and of course the flight itself. We understand that value and expectations can differ from person to person, and we appreciate you giving it a try!

    Great Instructors, great ride

Top (Spanish origin) instructors with great energy and a great vibe. Of course necessary since the zipline ride is 30 seconds and the preparations 45 minutes. Anyhow its worth the wait, they make it a fun but professional experience! Price could be a bit lower (10/20%) but it doesn’t stop you from attending.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 We’re especially happy to hear that our instructors made the experience fun, energetic, and professional. We really appreciate your feedback on the pricing as well, and we’re glad you felt the experience was worth it. We hope to see you back for another flight! 🦅💨

I would not do it again

We booked our ride for 3:00 PM and arrived at 2:40 PM to make sure we would not be late. However, our ride did not take place until 3:57 PM. The waiting time was extremely long, we had to walk up to hill that for some of us was chalanging, and because of the delay, we had to cancel our evening plans as the kids were already tired after waiting for so long. What concerned us even more was the experience during take-off. The safety ropes were not detached properly, so my son and I were left swinging and hanging partly outside after the launch. Since we had no idea what was happening, it was genuinely frightening, especially for a child who is already afraid of heights. The sudden jolt when the ride stopped was also extremely strong. Some of us experienced significant chest pain afterwards, and the discomfort is still present even several days later. We also paid extra for the flight video, but unfortunately the quality is very poor and it does not capture the excitement or enjoyment of the flight at all. In our opinion, it is definitely not worth paying additional money for the video. After such a stressful experience, it was very difficult to relax and enjoy the flight. Instead of being an exciting and pleasant experience, the long wait, the safety issue during take-off, the very harsh stop, and the disappointing video left us feeling disappointed.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the waiting time and the overall experience for your family. On busy days, waiting times can unfortunately be longer than expected, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused, especially with your evening plans. The short uphill walk to the platform is also part of the experience and is mentioned on our website. Regarding your concerns about the take-off and stopping of the zipline, we would like to emphasize that safety is always our number one priority, and we take every precaution to ensure our operation is carried out safely. We are also sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the quality of the video. We understand that this is an additional purchase, and we regret that it did not meet your expectations. If you experienced any issues during your visit or would like to discuss your experience further, please feel free to contact us directly. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Kind regards, The Mega Zipline Iceland Team

Fast as Falcon Superman Ride: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does Fast as Falcon Superman Ride cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fast as Falcon Superman Ride take?

    +

Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is Fast as Falcon Superman Ride worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fast as Falcon Superman Ride?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fast as Falcon Superman Ride suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fast as Falcon Superman Ride?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fast as Falcon Superman Ride start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
