What you'll see and do
After evening pickup from your Las Vegas hotel, travel to a 15,000-acre (6,070-hectare) off-road recreation area not far from the Las Vegas Strip. Following a thorough safety briefing, you'll be outfitted with a full face helmet, goggles and gloves and set up in a one-seater dune buggy custom built to take on the tough desert terrain. Your buggy comes equipped with a roll cage, four-point harness and lights to keep you safe. The dune buggy has a gas pedal, brake and steering wheel just like a regular car so it's easy to operate. Drive as fast you like under the desert stars as you and the others in your small group chase your guide's dune buggy across the bumpy terrain featuring dunes, hills, valleys, gravel and washed-out creek beds. Cover 20 to 25 miles (32 to 40 km) over the course of your no-holds-barred, 50-minute buggy chase in the desert. Afterward, travel back to your Las Vegas hotel. Your tour ends early enough to allow you time to enjoy plenty more wild adventures in Sin City. Please Note: Your total tour duration includes hotel pickup and drop-off. Response from the operator: Hi Mike DC, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! YEP, WE KNOW WE'RE SCREAMING -- TOO EXCITED that you came to spend your special day with Sunbuggy. Turnt! We love this review, not only because it's your birthday, but because your description was 10/10: "fun ... slide around ... play in the dunes ... dusty but ... ton of fun", thanks for breaking it down so beautifully for us. We hope you're having the very best birthday of your life, wishing you so many more birthdays and may each of them be happier than the one before it. Happy summer of '21, be safe, be cool, be happy and thanks for posting.

Andy’s trip
Do the buggies and Ask for Chad!! I’ve never been so safe and had So much fun at the same time. This was such a blast. So much better than the boring side by side tour
Response from the operator: Hi there! Thanks for coming out to ride with Sunbuggy and letting us know that you had #1SAFE and #2FUN, so important! We passed your comment to Chad, big grin on his face. Everyone loves to see their name in a 5* review. We appreciate you. #Whathappensinvegas

A MUST do
A MUST do, wayyyy too much fun and the guides are amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they really make sure everyone is safe while you have the time of your lives! Off-roading is NOT glamorous, the buggies are like mini tanks, boy do they take a beating! Most fun I've had in YEARS!
Response from the operator: Hi Ruthless! Thanks so much for chiming in and setting the record straight. If you're terrified of breaking a fingernail or getting a bit of sand on you, perhaps this wouldn't be your first choice. This is a hearty, hearts-all-into it, screaming, thrilling adventure that will leave you breathless with a huge grin on your face. We do hire the BEST in customer service and our first priority is #1SAFETY and #2FUN. We appreciate this down-to-earth response, we think that YOU are awesome!

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Las Vegas.
How much does Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas cost?
+
Prices start at $723 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Las Vegas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Las Vegas is not rushed.
Is Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Las Vegas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Las Vegas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Las Vegas and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Extreme Dune Buggy Night Chase from Las Vegas start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Las Vegas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Las Vegas?
+
Las Vegas sells two trips at once: the Strip after dark, and the red-rock desert that starts twenty minutes past the last casino. Helicopter runs to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam half-days and Red Rock Canyon drives all leave early, while show tickets, speakeasy crawls and high-roller dining fill the evening. Outty Ranking weighs operator reliability heavily here, because the gap between a well-run desert tour and a coach-and-queue version is enormous. On Outty we rank every Las Vegas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group: Valley of Fire Half Day Tour from Las Vegas, Small Group Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains VIP Tour, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam Stop, Breakfast, Lunch & Skywalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?
+
October to April. Summer highs above 105F make midday outdoor tours punishing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Las Vegas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
