This is a 5-star experience in Phuket!
I came in about an hour early because I wasn't familiar with the place, I didn't expect to find the place so easily. To my amazement, they didn't let me wait to start at the agreed time even though I was okay with waiting. Rather, we started the class earlier than scheduled. I loved how there was a short lecture at first, explaining about Thai culture and the ingredients we used. I was able to finish 3 dishes: white, green and red lipstick (I love their 'nicknames'!) - Tom Kha Gai, Gaeng Kheo Wan Gai and Tom Yum Goong. Teacher Nong is so nice, and so is the owner, Ms. Pum. Now that I am back home, I've tried recreating Tom Kha Gai several times and my family loves the dish!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the overall class. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for another cooking adventure in the future. Best Regards Tawan Oh-Hoo Team

Very disappointing!!
What a rip off this place sadly ,it’s was so disappointing . We paid a lot of money for no choice in menus when we arrived told the 3 dishes , barely any meat 2 soups that were watery and cost them nothing. I filled out on line beforehand that I was pescatarian when I got there they had chicken out and informed me no fish that day . Why ?? I we could of had a wonderful meal out in Thailand for that kind of money and sadly we learnt nothing , I could have thrown all the prepared ingredients into a pan and told my husband how to cook it ! They won’t give out the sauce recipe as of copyright issues , you have to go to all the trouble to email them for all the recipes?? How strange! And they treat you like children performing at a school and the chef you can barely understand what he is saying , one lady had to ask him to remove his mask as she couldn’t understand a word . Everyone looked dissatisfied with the outcome in our group and very perplexed . Please don’t waste your money I am sure there are better places .

Everyone in this class was so helpful and so nice! Not to mention the best Thai food I have had in 2 weeks traveling here. Will definitely go to the other locations in UK and France! Thanks everyone :)

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket cost?
+
Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Express Thai Cooking Class in Phuket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
