Nullisime to wish

I don't recommend it at all... To flee... And then a receptionsite discriminated against a client because she had a strong build. Stupid

Response from the operator: Hello, The content of this user’s review is: "I absolutely do not recommend it… Stay away… And one of the receptionists discriminated against a client because she had a larger body size. Idiot." This user appears to have posted the review on the wrong business. The review describes an experience at a hotel, while our listing is for a tour service. Therefore, the content is not related to our tour service in any way. Additionally, we cannot find this person’s name in any of our tour bookings. We kindly request that you remove this review from our tour listing, as it may cause confusion for other customers. Thank you very much for your understanding and support. Best regards.

Bait and Switch Scammers

We booked and paid for a tour to the Ban Guoc Waterfalls in December 2024 for our trip in March 2025. Two weeks before we were supposed to go on the tour, the company contacted us to say they didn’t have enough people to complete the tour group and said we could go on a “private tour” for $130 each (2 of us). This seemed unreasonable and we asked for a refund. We were told that we needed to “cancel” our reservation through Trip Advisor in order for them to process the refund. It wasn’t until we threatened to report them to AMEX that they agreed to issue the refund. We were stuck trying to find a new tour company at an increased cost due to our now untimely booking. The bottom line is they lured us in with a low price only to jack it up when the time got close.

A nice trip

The trip went very well. We learned about Vietnamese culture and the war, it was very interesting. The really great guide. We took breaks where we were able to taste local products. The driver was also very nice and courteous. The stay was full of discoveries and beautiful landscapes. Thanks a lot and see you soon. 5/5

Ban Gioc warterfall and Ba Be lake from Hanoi, good trip in the beatan places

Was definitely better than I expected. The homestays are quite comfortable despite their location (hot water, electricity, internet), the food is amazing, there's a lot of driving but the waterfall is well worth the trip. Guide was good and appreciate his commitment to learning English. I loved that tour was off the beaten path. We got to see a lot of really awesome places. It was a great tour.

Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $166 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Explore Vietnam’s Largest Waterfall & Lake on a 2 or 3-Day Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

+

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
