A fascinating tour and great service
I had a fantastic few hours on the market tour with Akash. We visited many different market and shopping areas as well as the cow sanctuary, and Akash was very informative throughout. I decided on the tour at the last minute and Dinesh Jain at Mumbai Dream tours was prompt in replying to my enquiries and arranging the tour. I would happily use this tour company again should I return to Mumbai.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your lovely review. We’re thrilled to hear that you had a fascinating time on the market tour with Akash and enjoyed exploring the different markets, shopping areas, and the cow sanctuary. It’s great to know that his explanations and insights added real value to the experience. We’re also glad we could help even with a last-minute booking. Dinesh will be happy to hear that his prompt communication and quick arrangements made things smooth for you. Your kind words and willingness to use our services again truly mean a lot to us. We’d be delighted to welcome you back on your next visit to Mumbai and show you even more of the city’s vibrant character.

Markets tour, best way to get a glance of all the markets, no pressure at all to buy anywhere, just a great way to explo
Market tour Mumbai. Great tour, best way to experience the different markets in Mumbai, the narrow alleys wirhin the markets, and the temples surrounding them. We had also a very nice sugar cane juice at the start of the tour. No pushy to buy in any shop , the tour guide Sanika would just ask the price to the vendors and it was fine to take pictures and not buy anything if not wanted to. I did the 10am tour. Would recommend the 4pm so that it is not so hot, since we almost melted ;-). Also on a Sunday at 10am they were still getting the street shops ready and there is much more life later on. All in all great tour !! Thanks again Sanika!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 I'm so glad you enjoyed exploring Mumbai's vibrant markets and experiencing the local culture without any pressure to buy. The sugarcane juice stop is always a refreshing treat! Noted on the timing – the 4 PM slot is definitely a great choice to avoid the heat. Hope to see you again for another adventure in Mumbai!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.
How much does Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $4000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.
Is Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore the New colorful places in Mumbai Market Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mumbai?
+
On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mumbai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mumbai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
