Authentic homestay and great trekking!
I had a great 2-day trekking and an overnight stay at Dinh. As a solo traveller, I felt welcome from the first moment. The homestay was beautiful, clean and surrounded by breathtaking rice terraces. The family was incredibly friendly and really introduced me to Hmong culture. The homemade food was delicious and the atmosphere felt like home. The draw was beautiful and well organized. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic experience in Sapa.

Thank you Do
Our family had an amazing 2-day, 1-night trekking tour with Dinh Sapa Trekking, and it was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam! We were guided by Dinh’s sister, who was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She shared so much about Hmong culture and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The trek through the rice terraces and local villages was absolutely breathtaking. The homestay was cozy, the food was delicious, and the whole experience felt authentic and unforgettable. Everything was well organized, and we always felt safe and well looked after. We highly recommend Dinh Sapa Trekking to anyone looking for a genuine local experience in Sapa. Thank you for giving our family such wonderful memories!

MAMMA MAYE IS A ROCKSTAR!
Unforgettable people, unforgettable place! We feel so lucky to be welcomed and guided by our new friend Mamma Maye. She showed us a lot about the Hmong culture, farming & way of life. Mrs Dinh has created such a great homestay, with beautiful views & comfortable rooms. She started her own school to give the kids future opportunities that they didn't have, so it feels good to have contributed to her dream with this real experience. She is a talented entertainer / host, we smiled & laughed so much it made my face sore. It was sad to say goodbye to our new friends, it's one of the happiest places on earth... must be something in the water up there 😉 Thank you!

Tour through the rice terraces with Dinh
We absolutely loved our two day tour with Dinh and her team! We had Do on the first day and Choo on the second day. The tour was definitely an adventure and our guides were fantastic even in the rain! Dinh and her family made us feel so welcome in their home and treated us to a dance performance from her students! This is a very special experience and Dinh is doing an amazing job - definitely our Vietnam highlight.

Pure joy
A tour with any of Dinh’s family members is the best way to spend your time in Sa Pa. She is amazing as is her homestay and what she is doing for her local community. Thank you Dinh!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sapa.
How much does Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sapa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sapa is not rushed.
Is Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sapa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sapa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sapa and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore Sapa: 2D1N Trekking & Hmong Culture With Dinh start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sapa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sapa?
+
On Outty we rank every Sapa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sapa 2 Days 1 Night From Hanoi - Overnight in Ta Van Village, Glass Bridge, Cat Cat Village, Moana, Alpine Coaster Sapa Tour, Sapa 1 day trek with local guide to the village by Comlam. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sapa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sapa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
