A Grand Tour
Enjoyed our day out, particularly Mijas, which has some beautiful views. A wee bit longer day than advertised, 8 hour round trip, but a great way to see several resorts along the way.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad you enjoyed the day and especially the beautiful views in Mijas. We also appreciate your note about the total duration, as the various stops along the coast can make the day longer than expected.

Fantastic Day Trip with an Amazing Guide, Covi!
We had a fantastic coach trip to Marbella, Puerto Banús and Mijas, and it was one of the highlights of our holiday. Our guide, Covi, was absolutely wonderful—she struck the perfect balance between being warm, friendly, humorous and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared lots of interesting information throughout the day while making everyone feel welcome and relaxed. The itinerary was excellent, with just the right amount of time to explore each destination without feeling rushed. We would highly recommend this trip, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Covi as your guide!

Beautiful Destinations, But More Time Needed in Mijas and Marbella
My sister and I enjoyed this excursion overall and were glad to have the opportunity to visit both Marbella and Mijas. The destinations themselves were beautiful, but we felt the schedule could be improved to allow more time to enjoy them. Our first stop was Marbella, where we arrived shortly after 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday. While the town was lovely, many of the shops were still closed, and the beach area was very quiet. We were given just over an hour to explore before heading to Puerto Banús, where we spent about 45 minutes admiring the luxury yachts and waterfront atmosphere. Although Puerto Banús was worth seeing, we felt that arriving later in the morning or having more time in Marbella would have made for a better experience. The highlight of the day was definitely Mijas. This charming white village was everything we hoped it would be. We visited the CAC Museum, where we enjoyed viewing works by Picasso and other contemporary artists, sampled local wines at a rooftop bar with beautiful views, and had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Mijas was picturesque, full of character, and offered some of our favorite moments from the excursion. Our only disappointment was the amount of time allocated in Mijas. With only about two hours, it was difficult to fit everything in. Between visiting the museum, enjoying lunch, and stopping for wine tasting, we had very little time left to wander the streets, browse the local shops, and shop for souvenirs. We would have loved at least another hour to explore at a more relaxed pace. Overall, this is a good excursion for travelers who want a brief introduction to Marbella and Mijas in a single day. However, we felt Marbella was scheduled a bit too early in the morning, and Mijas deserved more time than it was given. Even so, we left with wonderful memories, beautiful photos, and a greater appreciation for the beauty of the Costa del Sol.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your detailed review! 😊 We’re delighted to hear that you and your sister enjoyed visiting Marbella and Mijas, and that Mijas in particular left a strong impression with its charm, museum, wine tasting, and rooftop views 🌞🏘️ We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the schedule. We understand that arriving early in Marbella limited the available time, and that Mijas deserved a bit more time to explore at a relaxed pace. Your insights will help us improve the planning and pacing of future excursions to ensure travelers can fully enjoy both destinations 🚍✨ It’s wonderful to hear that, despite the timing, you left with beautiful memories, photos, and a greater appreciation for the Costa del Sol. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you again soon for another unforgettable adventure with Visitanddo.com 🌿

Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 81 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore Mijas and Marbella on a Day Trip from Malaga start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
