Fiasco after fiasco and no room for improvement
Never made it on time, never answered correctly, tried to gaslight with offers but the possibility of a refund since it was through VIATOR were minimal, tour guide through company was not savvy enough being my second time there, wanted to have my son enjoy the experience but it was not just there. Being in another country and lacking safety was present. Took them 2.5 hours to pick us up, morning lost but we decided to see the outcome: My mistake. I have the photos of the conversation through their WhatsApp number and through VIATOR, none of them were answered on time but after 2 hours.

Extreme satisfaction for a tour outside the box
The head of the Agency was immediately very willing to adapt the tour according to my requests, in the previous days we wrote several times to define the details that had sometimes been misunderstood, but then at the beginning of the tour and throughout the day I was satisfied with the respect of the program. Clearly everything also depends on the guide and in our case Yasser was a very helpful person, always constantly positive and welcoming enough to make us feel special. The day was really very long, even the car we were traveling in was extremely comfortable as well as the driver very attentive. In particular, the Quad tour done at sunset is something special, it allows you to experience the desert in a way that few do like running on the dunes with the pyramids in the background. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this day spent in the company of my children who were able to live an original and exciting experience.

Nice pyramids trip
The experience was unimaginable and unforgettable. We had an amazing time. The day began with the driver picking us from our hotel in Giza and then the driver picked up the tour guide, a lovely woman named Iman. We first went to buy the tickets to visit the pyramids which are fixed government fees 700 Egyptian pounds for adults and a reduced rate of 350 Egyptian pounds for students. The tour guide was very nice advising that it was a reduced rate for students otherwise I wouldn't know. The she began explaining the history about the pyramids and then we went to visit the pyramids and it was excellent. She made us many photos and very nice photos too and the way and manner in which she took it was very nice and she didn't show any reactions that she didn't want to make any photos or that she didn't want to be touring us. We also did half an hour camel riding with the view of the pyramids and the camel riders made excellent photos. We then when next close to the pyramids and make more photos and we even went inside one of the smaller pyramids. We then visited the Sphinx and made some lovely photos there. After that Iman took us to a place where they showed us how Papayas is made (Egyptian paper) and they even offered us drinks. We then visited the hieroglyphics and they showed us how they make silver rings bracelets etc. with hieroglyphics. We then went for quad biking and the quad bikers made us excellent photos going round the pyramids and then the driver took us back to our hotel. The whole experience was great.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore Giza Pyramids on a Private ATV or Camel Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
