The East Bank of Luxor refers to the central part of Luxor township, centred on the twin foci of the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. Unlike the West Bank, which was always the main area for cemeteries and mortuary temples, the East Bank represented the main settlement of the living throughout the millennia – a role that has hardly changed. Luxor is a calm relaxed historical place
Luxor is a definite change of pace than Cairo if you are looking for something more calm. In addition there is a lot to do. Valley of the Kings as well as the Ramsey’s are must see’s try to spend as much time as possible and start early. Also got to see the Alabaster factory and shop. King Tut’s tomb is also in the valley of the kings. Queen Hatshbsout! Highly recommend this company. I felt very safe and secure. Transportation from the airport is provided. Tour guide was very proficient in English his name was Mahmoud. I came from Philadelphia, USA ❤️🇪🇬🇺🇸👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How far in advance should I book Explore Full day Luxor East & West Bank?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?

What are the best things to do in Luxor?
+
On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Half Day Luxor Tour Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut, Full Day Tour to East and West Banks of Luxor (Private), Private Half day Tour to West bank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Luxor?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Luxor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
