Book with DBR Tours JA!!
Damian is very professional, full of Jamaican history, and made our vacation great! My family and I visited Montego Bay for 5 days, and Damian brought us to Negril, the 7 mile beach area, and educated us the entire ride. He gave us great suggestions on places to eat and where to explore, and prices were reasonable. Damian always had the best music playing as well and caters to his customers. I recommend using Damian and his company during your stay in Jamaica!

Welcome to Jamaica
This was a great experience for us in Jamaica. Damian was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about Jamaica. Damian did things for us that were not even in the plans of the tour. I highly recommend him as a tour guide or even as a cab driver in Jamaica.
Response from the operator: Thanks again, hope to see you again soon 😊

DO NOT use DBR tours Jamaica!!!
Let me just start by saying… DBR TOURS was the most unprofessional and ridiculous company I have EVER dealt with in Jamaica. I’ve been traveling to Jamaica for over 32 years! Here’s the story: I booked an excursion to Negril, with the drop down option provided I selected my hotel and paid for it using Travelocity. The price changed based on my location as it should. I had no issues with that at all. After my booking at 10PM EST a man who refused to identify himself but claimed he was the general manager from DBR tours call me on WhatsApp to inform me that the distance was too far and he needed more money in order to complete the excursion. Obviously I was not just confused, but surprised and as he continued to explain and be brash with me, I became annoyed. He urged me to cancel the booking since he didn’t want to do the pick up. He proceeded to gaslight me in the conversation and make it seem like the distance was the issue, when really the issue was that he wasn’t prepared to be doing business on a public 3rd party platform like Travelocity. I am in the middle of filing a formal complaint with Travelocity. I just wanted to warn you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Extremely unprofessional!!!! Very shady and unreliable!!!
Response from the operator: Good night this individual and I did not come in contact at anypoint in time they booked a tour from there hotel which is located in St.Anns Bay for a excursion in Negril and I am located St . James, the price listed on my App was coated wrong so I reach out to these individual to let them know that there hotel is out of my of my geographical location hence there is a price change, they decided that they won't be paying any more money so they will cancel the excursions and I agree. I have done business with a 3rd party platform before and I have never have any encounter like this before, I have a very reliable company, however I apologize for the inconvenience

Jamaica I love you
First trip to Jamaica November 2023. We had an amazing time. People we met, not only from Jamaica, history, tours and the falls. I thought climbing Dunn's Rivers Fall and blue holes, I would have quit half way but I made it from start to finish. I love it. Our driver Damien was amazing, he made the trip exciting, fun and safe. Damien you rock. I love it so much. I had to go again. So my second trip to Jamaica, May 2024. This time took my 4 years old grand daughter, she had a blast. We more amazing people. The Beach, the food. My grand baby wants to live in Jamaica. Again you want a great taxis driver Damien is the man. 876 864 5627 Jamaica I will be back. Sandra J

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Trelawny.
How much does Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Trelawny usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Trelawny is not rushed.
Is Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Trelawny, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Trelawny can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Trelawny and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Experience Negril Seven Mile Beach & Jamaica's Famous Ricks Café start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Trelawny within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Trelawny?
+
On Outty we rank every Trelawny experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Authentic Down-to-Earth Half Day Tour in Montego Bay, Negril Seven Miles Beach, Snorkeling, Boat Ride, Ricks Cafe Combo, Private Montego Bay Customized Tour with Pickup and Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Trelawny?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Trelawny?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
