Fun tour
The first hour of the tour was a ride up the Aravalli Mountain to go to a restaurant with a view of the illuminated Nahargarh Fort. The view was nice, but there was lots of traffic on the way up and it was very cold on the Jeep as the seats are elevated, a blanket would have been nice. Not sure this first part of the tour was worth it for a ten minute stop to be honest. The second part was in the city of Jaipur itself and was a lot of fun, as we had unobstructed view over everything. The driver and the guide were both very nice and we felt safe. Overall a very pleasant tour!

Lovely Jaypur
This was an amazing experience that was topped off by stop at the restaurant at the fort with live music and the city below lit like jewels visible through the fort walls. Magnificent!!

Open air and city lights
It was fun riding around in the open air jeep. One needs to have a certain amount of agility to get in/out of the vehicle. The guide treated me to some regional treats during the ride. I enjoyed seeing the city all lit up.

Some highs and lows. Great concept but could use some communication improvements.
Seeing Jaipur by night I highly recommend because the city is beautifully lit up and the open air jeep allowed great visibility. Our driver did a great job taking photos for us. Here are some notes about our experience. This was not an informative tour. The driver could point out the name of the palace but did not provide information. It was chilly! Dress warm if you are going in the winter months. Going up the switchbacks to get to Nahagarah Fort was particularly cold. The restaurant was outside and breezy so extra chilly. Driving around India is a very different experience than the states where we teach defensive driving. The driving was aggressive, and we did end up in a minor incident. No police reports were filed (It's India) but we believe the motorcyclist wanted validation that the driver was in the wrong. We booked our tour day of and were grateful we could make it happen. Our tour started at 6pm meaning there is no way you are going to get a sunset view from the mountains. Summer sure but not if you are doing this in the Fall or Winter. You will get a pretty night scene from the mountains. Traffic from our hotel (Marriott) was bad. We did not go to Amber Fort and it wasn't mentioned at all during the drive. Our tour included driving around the Pink City, picture opportunities by Jal Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Hawa Mahal, and driving up the mountain range to Nahagarah fort with the restaurant. It was an adventure. We enjoyed the sites we did see but the driving and cold was exhausting. I think the driver should have stated upfront what we would and would not being seeing.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the review Sir We had informed it is a open air vehicle and weather is very cold at this time. Going around the aravali mountain range in the open vehicles has its own charm and a experience part of the tour. If we wish to go Amber light and sound show you need to pre inform and reserve the tickets also for the same. We apologize for the driving experience you had at the tour but it was a mistake from the biker who came from wrong side(On one way road). Warm Regards Team World of Wilders

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Experience Jaipur By Night: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.
How much does Experience Jaipur By Night cost?
+
Prices start at $134 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Experience Jaipur By Night take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.
Is Experience Jaipur By Night worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 215 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Experience Jaipur By Night?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Experience Jaipur By Night suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Experience Jaipur By Night?
+
Around 75 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Experience Jaipur By Night start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaipur?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaipur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaipur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
