An Incredibly Worthwhile Tour Offering so Much Experience and Knowledge
What an amazing day and tour! Firstly do yourself a favour and go especially if you want authentic! 100% brilliant. The initial meeting at the traditional Balinese house was professional and authentic. Seeing the family doing their daily routine of cooking and the elder carving his artwork was incredible. This was a great choice to showcase Bali to us. Then we went on our walk. How was it? Brilliant!!! If you really want to experience Bali and really walk in nature- want to walk in the jungle with a local off the beaten track. It was exhilarating and fun! It was wonderful to see the edibles of plants like cassava, jackfruit within a real forest and also learning of the irrigation systems in place. We ended up at a venue overlooking amazing rice fields. We learnt of herbs and spices in cooking and a spiritual way they are used in cooking of the north south east and west. We saw and got involved in offering baskets and then also the cooking without pressure. The food for lunch was amazing. We even attended a temple and experienced being involved in a true blessing by the local priest. This was the best Bali tour in enjoyment and learning experience ever. The worst thing about this tour was that it ended as I could have spent my whole holiday doing, learning and sharing from this incredible tour guide Wayan. Our driver Arga was also absolutely amazing and together they made a great team. This is a tour I would actually love to do again and again one day . Incredibly professional but also really fun and personable. This tour suits those with a sense of adventure and willing and able with firm footing to walk in the true bush. It suits people who either have little plant knowledge or a lot plant knowledge too. If I could give this tour more than 5 stars ⭐️ I would!! This tour costs a bit but was completely value for money as it offers so much!! This tour was the highlight of our tours in Bali.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such an authentic and memorable experience on our tour. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed every aspect, from the traditional Balinese house visit to walking through the jungle and learning about local plants, irrigation, and spiritual practices. We're glad that Wayan and Arga helped make your day so special—they’ll be delighted to hear your kind words! We strive to offer a unique and immersive experience, and it’s incredibly rewarding to hear that this was a highlight of your Bali trip. We would love to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!

Is Experience Authentic Balinese Village Life on a Day Trip - Ubud worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Experience Authentic Balinese Village Life on a Day Trip - Ubud?

Is Experience Authentic Balinese Village Life on a Day Trip - Ubud suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Experience Authentic Balinese Village Life on a Day Trip - Ubud?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
