Great walk
We had a great day with Michael and Calvin. The organisation was great, packed lunch above expectations and the scenery spectacular. The walk was about 12km at a pace that gave us time to stop and admire the views and take photos. We had the added bonus of seeing bears ( at a safe distance!). Would recommend.

Fantastic day in Skoki!
Hiking in Skoki was absolutely amazing! The area is not very popular, so it felt like being just us. No crowds at all! Michelle was our guide for the day and she was fantastic. She was really friendly and knowledgable and made it a perfect day! I highly recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We love to recommend Skoki when people ask for a true hidden gem. As our exclusive van shuttle saves you 8km of fire road hiking just to get to the trailhead, most hikers otherwise give this area a pass in favour of trailheads closer to the highway. Their loss, your gain. Happy to hear you enjoyed your day with Michelle. We will say hi for you!

Amazing experience!
The Skoki backcountry hike was fantastic! The views were amazing. It was great to have access past the gated area. Mark was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel very safe as we travelled through the backcountry. We would highly recommend White Mountain Adventures and Mark as a guide!
Response from the operator: Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your review and your recommendation! We are really proud of this hiking offer, as the exclusive access past the gate allows us to offer clients a true backcountry hiking experience away from crowds. Glad to hear Mark took such good care of you, and helped to make your day in the Canadian Rockies that much more special.

Fantastic hike
Our hike was to Stanly glaicer as Skoki conditions were not favorable. We had an amazing hike with our guides Alina and Nicolas. Our guides were extremely friendly and full of knowledge about the nature around us.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! High alpine hiking has been a challenge this summer with a big snowpack and cool temperatures in Spring and Summer so far. We are glad to here you enjoyed your day with Alina and Nicolas.

Skoki back country trip
Fabulous experience. We had two excellent guides, Josh and Michael. They were both well-informed about flora, fauna, and the locale. Plus, there were very good natured people. It was nice to feel safe and cared for. I recommend this trip.
Response from the operator: thank you very much for your review. As this hike does leave the busier areas of the park into some very remote terrain, we are happy to hear your guides made you feel safe and secure.

Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Banff.
How much does Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle cost?
+
Prices start at $206 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Banff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Banff is not rushed.
Is Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Banff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Banff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Banff and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive Skoki Backcountry Guided Hiking in Lake Louise with Van Shuttle start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Banff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Banff?
+
On Outty we rank every Banff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Icefields Parkway Full-Day Tour, Hop-On and Hop-Off Banff Bus, ShuttleBus 2way Banff to Lake Louise (1Hr) and Moraine Lake (1Hr). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Banff?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Banff?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
