A wonderful evening in Rome!
Honestly, this was one of the best tours my wife and I had in our whole trip to Italy. We booked it due to a change of plans with my wife being pregnant and wanting to avoid stressing her out by too much walking in the heat, and we were not disappointed. In fact, this would have been a great our even if we had full energy! Stefano was an amazing guide and very friendly and easy to talk to. He was there at our hotel right on time, and he had a lot of amazing things to show us and things we didn't expect. This was my third time in Rome, but my wife's first time, and honestly many of the places and things Stefano showed me were just as new and interesting while at the same time making a wonderful first impression of Rome for my wife. The food was amazing, by far the best pizza we had in our whole trip to Italy, and the gelato was wonderful as well! I highly recommend this tour for anyone considering a golf car tour of Rome!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for these beautiful words! It was truly a pleasure spending that evening with you both and sharing a little piece of Rome together. I’m especially happy that your wife could enjoy the city comfortably and that we were able to make your third visit feel a little different — while creating such a special first impression for her. I wish you both, and your growing family, a lifetime of happiness, health and beautiful adventures together. ❤️ Whenever you come back to Rome, please look me up. It would be wonderful to see you again and share another unforgettable day together. All the very best, and congratulations once again! 🇮🇹❤️

Best overview of history and life in Rome!
For a short visit in Rome, this tour is a great overview of history and what to explore in depth. Stephano was fabulous and made the tour so much fun! Good driver too!
Response from the operator: So glad this gave you the perfect introduction to the city for a short visit, exactly what a golf cart night tour should do. Sounds like the Driver brought both the fun and the skillful driving in equal measure! Thank you so much for this lovely review, we hope Rome calls you back for a longer stay soon! 🇮🇹🏛️ Stefano

Strangers from Across the World, Together Over Food, Laughter & Gelato
I highly recommend Stefano! Having traveled and lived in other countries before returning home to Italy, he brings a unique perspective to the experience. He made us feel as though we were guests in someone’s home, enjoying a traditional Italian dinner filled with delicious food, laughter, and genuine conversation. My friend Stephanie and I also met a wonderful couple, Debbie and Mickey, from Australia. By the end of the evening, we were no longer strangers—we were friends sharing dinner, gelato, and so many laughs. Stefano left us with a special reminder: Whether we’re from Australia, America, or Italy, we are far more alike than we are different. This was truly a special evening and one of my favorite experiences of my entire Mediterranean trip. Stefano made the tour unforgettable, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Theresa. Your words truly touched my heart. ❤️ Reading a review like yours is one of the greatest rewards for the passion I put into my work every single day. My goal has never been just to show the monuments of Rome, but to create real connections, share stories, laughter, great food, and unforgettable moments. I’m so happy that, by the end of the evening, you, Stephanie, Debbie, and Mickey felt like friends instead of strangers. That’s exactly the experience I hope every guest takes home. Thank you for helping future travelers understand that this is much more than a tour—it’s an evening of authentic Italian hospitality and shared memories. I hope our paths cross again, here in Rome or somewhere else in the world. Until then, take care and thank you again from the bottom of my heart! 🇮🇹🍝🍷 Stefano

A good way to see the city under lights!
A good way to see this city if you're unable to get around. Our daughter was on grutches and she was able to visit all the sites. The Spanish steps were closed and so was Santa Maria maggiore Basilica. I should have known that since this was a night tour but I was expecting to go in. The description also says they have water and air conditioning which isn't the case. The golf tours are nice but they're hard to hear if you weren't sitting in the front two seats. I recommend making sure whoever you go with has a headset and is licensed to give educational tour information. I'm not sure that all all golf cart companies are allowed to do that.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re happy your daughter was able to enjoy Rome comfortably with us. 😊 We truly value comments like yours—they help us improve our service. Based on guests’ suggestions, we’ve now introduced a microphone system so everyone, including those in the back seats, can hear clearly. We hope to welcome you again soon! 🇮🇹🏛️

Great Way to See Rome
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this wonderful review! Short, simple, and powerful—you said everything in just a few words. These are often our favorite reviews because they show that you genuinely enjoyed the experience. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Thank you again, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Rome in the future! Stefano

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato cost?
+
Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive Rome - GolfCart Night Tour with Pasta or Pizza & Gelato start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
