Bad experience, cancelled tour
I booked a tour with Amigo Tours for the Real Alcazar in Seville at 09:00, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The day before our scheduled tour, we received a cancellation email in the afternoon. Their excuse was that they were missing our passport information, which we had already provided when we made the booking two weeks prior. They claimed to have tried reaching us through email and WhatsApp messages, but we never received any of these supposed communications. It's frustrating that they didn't double-check their records before canceling our tour. I called them an hour before the tour start time, as they're not reachable in the evening, and asked if we could still attend if I provided my passport details again. Their customer service was far from friendly, and they bluntly informed us that we couldn't attend. Overall, I would strongly advise against booking a tour with Amigo Tours. Their lack of communication, poor customer service, and cancellation without valid reason made for an unpleasant experience.
Response from the operator: Dear Savinev, thank you very much for taking the time to leave your comment, we greatly appreciate it. First of all, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. We were verifying the situation with our reservations department and according to our records and the reservation confirmation, we did not receive the necessary information in time to guarantee your access to the monument. Our team tried to contact you by email and WhatsApp to obtain the information but could not be found. However, we will take your observation into account and make the necessary adjustments so that these situations do not happen again. Best regards from Amigo Tours.

Amigo Tour steal from their customers. Dishonest service.
My sister, her husband and I arrived at the meeting point at 9am (meeting time was 9.15am and entry time was 9.30am). We waited in the area until 9.35am, before calling the agency to ask them about the whereabouts of our guide. Not only did they say that the guide came and went, they also said that the guide would not come back to give us the tour (again, it was 9.35am, entrance to the site is at 9.30am). For context, there were loads of groups around us which were being greeted by their guides, ours didn't even LOOK FOR US. We asked around, tried to locate her - she clearly made no effort, just came and left. No branding. No asking around. No getting in touch with us (she had our mobile numbers). Nothing. How could we know how to find them? On top of 1/ making zero efforts to find us and 2/ refusing to provide a service which we'd already paid for, THEY ALSO HAVE REFUSED TO ISSUE US A REFUND. We have lost in excess of 100 euros. Read some more reviews and you will see how much Amigo Tours steal from their customers. Not to be trusted.

Great tour!
Absolutely recommend this tour! Rosa was our guide and she was wonderful, highly knowledgeable of the city and Alcazar. Tour was perfect amount of time and you are able to continuing exploring the gardens and even walk through the palace again on your own once it ends.
Response from the operator: Dear Clare, we are so grateful to read your review, thank you for taking the time, we are really happy to know you had a nice time with us, hope to see you again soon on another adventure with us! Ivana, Amigo Tours

Visually Stunning and Historically Informative
Cannot say enough about the alcazar and cathedral tour. These two places are a must see in Sevilla. We booked our through our hotel w early tickets and in English. I hate that I don’t call the guide’s name but she was wonderful. The tour was through Poncho Tours and their office is a little hard to locate so start a little early.

Our guide made our tour exceptional
Our guide, Rosa, absolutely made this visit something exceptional. Her English was the best of any guide we’ve had. Her passion was articulated in her dialogue about the palace. Yes, dialogue, because she welcomed our questions and discussed with us our curiosities and observations. This felt like an interactive tour vs just having a person tell you about a place. If you’re lucky enough to get her, you’ll have an incredible tour and come on people, tip an exceptional guide! Appreciating the great ones like Rosa might help preserve their enthusiasm for the future.
Response from the operator: Dear Elizabeth; We are pleased to hear that you had a blast with Rosa, thank you so much for being part of this experience! Mariana, Amigo tours

Why this scores 42
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.
How much does Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.
Is Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive Private Tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seville?
+
On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seville?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
