About this experience
If you don't want to find yourself at a crowded table with 20 people, fighting for a rolling pin or some flour, you've come to the right place. We offer private lessons or for small groups: for us making pasta is a memory of those Sundays together with family and friends, sharing laughter and special moments. You will learn in the intimate and welcoming atmosphere of an authentic 1900s workshop. You will receive hands-on training from a local professional chef who will guide you in creating your own fresh pasta, discovering techniques that are easy to replicate at home by transforming your kitchen into a flavor laboratory. We will explore Tuscan culinary traditions, with stories about recipes that have stood the test of time. We will choose fresh and seasonal ingredients, for dishes rich in authentic Tuscan flavors. We have vegetarian options and ask you to notify us of any food restrictions in advance. All tools and ingredients are provided for a stress-free experience!

One of our most memorable experiences from Florence
Such a great experience! My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and Pinzochere Lab gave exactly what they promised in the description. In a city like Florence, with so many over crowded tourist attractions, this was SUCH a lovely break from the crowds. We had the whole place to ourselves, it was private but so much fun. The location is right in the heart of Florence but also felt hidden and secret which added to the feeling of exclusivity. Ben speaks great English, is so welcoming and really passionate which comes across and makes it that much more special of an experience. It really gave me a new insight into food and why Italian's love it so much. As someone who does mostly microwave meals in London to get by, the fact we got to eat what we made also meant I left with a new skill, the fact it was delicious as well was the cherry on top! At first when I saw the price I was a bit nervous as I'm normally not a fan of cooking, but my girlfriend was keen and I'm so glad she convinced me to go for it. We spent 3 days in Florence and I definitely think this experience was probably in the top 3 of the most memorable things we did. I'd recommend this for couples, families or a group of friends who want to laugh, take a break from the crowds, and experience what food really means to Italians.

SPECTACULAR!!!
We had a fantastic afternoon here! The workshop is well-kept, and the lesson was very fun and interactive. The chef is super helpful and teaches you tricks that you would not find anywhere else. In the end we ate what we prepared and I can say it was absolutely delicious. A true local experience worth every minute!

Amazing experience and delicious food !
We had an amazing time during this cooking class. The location is a remote, very charming old bakery lab, so the authenticity is peak. There was only the 2 of us during the class, which was amazing because we really wanted something private. Benjamin, the chef, was an amazing teacher and very friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a pasta cooking class in an authentic, simple and chill mood, that is the place to choose !

Exceptional Cooking Classes and the Best Artisanal Panettone in Florence – A True Local Gem!
As residents of Florence, we’re always on the lookout for authentic experiences to share with visiting family, and Pinzochere Lab has become one of our absolute favorites for both their hands-on cooking classes and incredible pastries. We recently booked a private cooking class for a group of 6 (5 adults and our 10-year-old niece visiting from abroad). It was outstanding: fresh, high-quality ingredients—many home-grown on their own countryside farm—combined with clear, patient explanations that made it engaging and fun for everyone, including the kids. The whole experience felt genuinely Tuscan, like stepping into a real home kitchen, and we left with new skills and wonderful memories. On top of that, their artisanal panettone is hands-down one of the best we’ve ever had in the city. I bought one on a whim to try at home—so soft, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor from top-notch ingredients, clearly made in small batches with real care and love. It was so exceptional that I immediately went back and bought 10 more to gift to family and friends over the holidays. Everyone raved about them! Pinzochere Lab is a hidden treasure—authentic, passionate, and far above the usual tourist spots. Whether you’re a local or visitor, don’t miss their classes or seasonal treats. We’ll be back again and again!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
