A superb wine tasting event in Herne Bay.
Thank you Joe and Henry for the terrific evening enjoying a selection of Chapel Down wines at Bar 85. Joe, the owner and Master Mixicologist of Bar and Henry the representative of Chapel Down Winery in Tenterden, gave a superb illustration of the range and quality of English wine produced in Kent by Chapel Down winery. Henry demonstrated us how to taste wine in order to throughly enjoy and better understand how the wines offered were grown, harvested and cellared to deliver optimum results. We were all impressed by his knowledge and delivery, he guided through the wine-making process and blew away a few misconceptions along the route. Joe, who organised the event also provided an excellent selection of snacks to complement the wines. I really enjoyed the evening and left with a new appreciation of the quality and range of the wines available at Bar 85.

Wine Tour and Delicious Food!
This was such a nice and delicious experience! The tour was short and sweet and the food was so good! We were stuffed and very happy! We loved knowing more about the Chianti wines at Panzanello.

Panzanello...A Delicious and Peaceful Adventure!
What a fabulous way to spend the afternoon. A short and beautiful drive from Panzano. I knew the minute I arrived at Panzanello that it was going to be an amazing day. My tour guide, Taziana, greeted me as soon as I drove up. She walked me through every part of the winery, introducing me to the wine maker and later to the owner. We walked through the kitchen where a large family was taking a cooking class together (that looked REALLY fun!) Lunch was on the back veranda with an incredible view of olive trees and rolling hills. The four-course meal was delicious, and the tiramisu (which LOOKED simple) is the best I've ever had. I did not intend to join the wine club; however, the wines are phenomenal and the entire experience was one of the highlights of my trip. I'm in, and I can't wait to go back next spring! Book the adventure...you will have a peaceful and fulfilling experience!

Excellent tasting
Thanks to the visit to this winery this sad rainy day was unforgettable. The staff and owner are highly trained and you can tell they love what they do. The wines we tasted were excellent and the cuisine was exquisite.

I’d like to return here
This was supposed to be just a rest stop, a place to recharge on our 2 week multi-city family trip. Turned out to be our best experience in Italy. Andrea and his family treated our family like his family, giving us his Land Rover to use to go into town, giving each of our kids wines vintaged on their birth year, touring their private cellars, sharing their family’s table while we made dinner together. He and Ioletta quickly become our friends. Panzanello wines have two unique characteristics - delicious and no hangover because Andrea uses very low sulfates. We have toured the world, same as you, this is an authentic place.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive lunch, Winery tour, Organic wines in Chianti Classico start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
